Been watching your campaigns for a bit now. You play on Legendary +1 You edit +1 You're dang good at the game! +1 ... Yet you totally underestimate the strength of your ships (ballista ones!). They are heavy ships and can ram better than most. Also you never manual aim, two shots to any transports, 3/4 for barbarians...ram and shoot wrecks most ships! Keep doing what you're doing man, best Rome II campaigns going albeit slowly! :)

Glad you enjoy it and thanks for feedback! I hear you re: manual aim, but I'm not a fan of ramming with them as they have small and lightly armoured crews so ramming something like a javelinman ship might result in half a crew dead from a single volley before you sink them, so I tend to use it as a last resort only

It really pays off to play absolutely hopeless battles, when the initial impulse is to just accept defeat and quickly move on

You can still learn a lot from defeats or even just weaken the enemy so that your revenge counterattack will be easier

I dont know why but my battles everything seems to be happening faster for me than for you in your videos

anyone know how good war dogs are against heavy infantry/spears when flanking them from behind? obviously a head on charge is suicide

Ye don't use your arty ship for ramming. When they close the gap ram then, those arty ships are beefy :)

I do but only as a last resort - the ships might be beefy but the crew aren't
