Up until the 1970s lots of Irish travellers lived lived in huts like that. I had elderly relatives who lived in a bender tent near the Coombe in Dublin until the mid-eighties. They were hard as nails. That video is a blast from the past.

We are integrated too here alot in holland. Due to law passed in 1968 we cant travel anymore. The normal folk put their trash on our camp sites and blamed us for it and because of that we arent allowed to travel no more. And many have mixed with normal ppl causing the culture to fade away.
