Oh honey, love isn't about marriage or weddings. My fiance and I have been together 12 years and still aren't married. We wanna be stable in our lives and take care of things that are way more necessary than marriage, like our health. We will get married, of course, but it's not on the top of our priority list. My fiance didn't propose until 3 years into our relationship. By then, we'd already discussed the topic many times, so it wasn't a surprise, aside from the timing. We're more stable in our relationship now than ever before, which is one of the most comforting things I've ever felt in my life. I look forward to him being my husband, but I can definitely wait. He's worth it. We're happy and in love, that's all that really matters in any relationship, other than the requirements of keeping a relationship solid. :) So, it doesn't matter if marriage doesn't happen in 1, 5, 10, or 20 years. As long as two people are happy together, that's all that matters.
