Also, as you were speaking of the visor hats, you said that the superior officers didn't have oak leaves on their visors. This is wrong. During a short period of time, during the RSR period, nobody had them. Meaning Maior, Locotenent Maior, Colonel, General Maior, General Locotenent, General Colonel and General de armată had their visors left empty. So it is correct to wear such a headgear with a superior officer's uniform.

This may have been myself misspeaking sorry. At what point did I say this? I know that there was this short period but after this Majors and other ranks up have a row of gold oak leaves and 2 rows for even higher ranks.

@@jimmyjjIm At this point i say that above majors would have oak leaves but your original messages says "you said that the superior officers didn't have oak leaves on their visors" so I apologise but this is what i said. I did miss out saying that there was a short period with no leaves but I did say that majors and above would have oak leaves

I don't believe the sniper rifle was used with the bayonet, as it add more weight which is not advices when you snipe, as it can be hard to keep the rifle stable anyway. Also, on another note, am I to understand you're not Romanian, or to say the least is Romanian not your mother tongue?

Thank you for your comment but the bayonet was indeed used. As stated in the video, the PSL is not a 'sniper' but a 'DMR' or designated marksman's rifle. The difference is that a soldier equipped with a DMR will fight alongside side a squad at the same distances as them and so he also needs the ability to mount a bayonet. I am not Romanian correct and I do hope to improve my Romanian going forward.

@@SoldatAndrei I see. Well, looks like I can also learn something new from you too! haha. To be fair, I've always been more interested in uniforms to weapons.
