Hornbach is a German network of household products, indeed very popular in Romania, but I have never seen that commercial here (and I am Romanian). I have the feeling it hasn't been done in Romania or for the Romanian market. The one with the Dominatrix is even funnier if you understand Romanian. The guy recognized his lady neighbor from his hometown (Romanian side of Moldova by the accent) by the mold spot on the ceiling :))

Nice video, I always like to see people react to Romanian stuff, and your way of reacting feels natural. And don't worry about the first ad not being Romanian, Hornbach has that type of ads in Romania too. Goofy stuff like that is their style.

Well, since I stopped watching TV 15 years ago, I suppose these are new commercials since I haven't seen any of them before... they are pretty lame to be honest, older commercials are way funnier, as far as I remember :) good reaction though!

1. First commercial NOT romanian: company is NOT ROMANIAN, commercial it is german - I believe. Hornbach it is chain store in all EUROPE .

Example: Coca-Cola make advertising in USA in english language, and the same in România but with romanian subtitle! About spanish... NO language spanish in video, it is just romanian language. Romanian language it is romanic (latin) language like: spanish, french, italian and portugheze.

How old are these commercials? They seem to be too creative to be recent. At least in my country, the commercials are extra boring nowadays. They used to be funnier but went downhill a few years ago. Is it the same way in Romania?

I know the time frame from when these were released varies but several did come out within the last 10 years. In my country of the U.S, the commercials are either pills trying to be sold to us or just generally “safe” humor. I always appreciate when company’s can give us a good laugh while marketing haha :)
