Well, based on their interviews and documentaries, most of OOR songs were created with thought of their fans in their mind. That's why you find their songs have some certain parts that should be sung together with crowd in their concert. So yeah, you can say YTMA is a fan song. You should watch some international fancams of Your Tears Are Mine, especially the one at Jakarta day 1. The crowd was so loud, even Taka was looked surprised, he said he got goosebumps LOL 😂 Some recommendations: - If you want to see another strong Freddie Mercury Queen vibes --> When They Turn The Lights On (Live Luxury Disease tour 2023) - another ballad, Wherever You Are (Live Ambitions tour 2017) --> it's perfect for wedding, actually Taka wrote it for his friend's wedding 🤍

taka actually did confirm during the shows that these particular live performances of YTAM were dedicated to the fans because of the hardships the world has and is going through lately. there were fan reports of him tearing up as he performed this song to oorers. also if you want to hear a oor song with even more queen vibes, check out the performance of When They Turn The Lights On also from this concert. or another more theatrical oor track is Neon which is also from this tour.

The more I learn about the history of this band, the more I can't help but love them more and more deeply. They are a rock band that has overcome hardships. Taka's voice is as straightforward and engaging as his personality. Their latest album declares to express the world's anger through music, so there may not be any beautiful ballad songs😅.

Beautiful voice

It's really worth watching some fan cams of this song, it's incredible. Taka has the crowd sing and he conducts them. You'll have to text to the most emotional performance Taka has ever given, "Nobody's Home" live at Yokohama arena 2012. Taka wrote this song to apologize to his parents, who was at this specific concert. The reason he apologized is because In high school Taka got into a huge argument with his parents because he didn't see himself pursuing music in the same way they did. @@Xia-hu We totally agree. Lean has some books with Asian leads set in Asian countries and we’ve both written some short film scripts based in Seoul for our Korean producer. Our film scripts all have Asian leads. I’ll ask Lean to reply with her book titles. 💜💜

@@LeanAndLooReact great, thank you :) I write myself, though mostly just short stories on archiveofourown. :) I'm a big advocate of Asian male - non-Asian female romance stories. I feel like Asian guys are shunned away, mostly due to how Hollywood portrays them as the nerdy assistant to the white lead or the funny martial arts experts (think Jackie Chan). They rarely get to be the desire of the non-Asian female lead in movies. There are so many sexy Asian guys out there :) cheers to romance authors who promote them :)

@@Xia-hu totally agree. My first Asian mixed race male lead was in my book “Fire in the Knight” with my character Donnie. But Lean has written far more Asian based books as she’s part Asian. I’m not sure if she has written specifically a non asian FL with an Asian ML yet. I’d have to ask her.
