I recently watched her concert last month and it's really an experience. Her live vocals just hits differently, it's hard to explain haha I just know that even 4K video can't capture how she sounds live. I really recommend to try to watch her live even once in your life. It's amazing too how she captures your attention and make it stay on her lol Her concert I went to is more than 3 hours but I want it to be even longer 😅 I think one of her charm is she manages to make the concert hall intimate even with thousands of people in attendance.

listening to her in person and watching her perform live is so amazing. apart from the obvious fact that her voice is beautiful, she’s also so charming and engaging on stage❤ im seeing her again in 2 weeks (last time was 2019) so im so excited!

Thanks again for a new reaction to IU's live singing. I think you're right about the song, it's a becoming of age song for a girl who at age 13 under the worse circumstances, fought so hard to have a chance at singing and after 2 years finally got it, then spent her first months income paying for her family's debt and after that she has never stop giving back to children, single parents, low income health issues, under privileged education, victims of disasters etc. The weekend of this concert IU was sick, not throat or respiratory but her ears, specifically Patulous Eustachian Tube disorder is an inflammation of the eustachian tubes, I've had it and is hell, you hear your voice like is coming from a megaphone while having trouble listening to others, you feel tired and cranky. I can't think of many who could have pulled out those 2 concerts with that power and that smile under that circumstance. I always say IU the singer is just the Fairy Queen (she can beautifully sing anything, it's just like magic), IU the actress is the life personification of pure emotion she could play the red queen, mad hater and Alice in the same movie and you would believe her and finally Lee ji Eun the person is just an angel. Yes I'm bias to her but in this age and moment I think she is the best person to be your model.

IU is such a versatile artist. There are some IU’s theatrical songs and jazz which are charming and enjoyable such as jamjam , block out, last night story live from 2017 pallet concert. Maybe you can try some different vibe after those emotional ballads.

23, Palette, Unlucky, Celebrity, Ahpuh, My sea. Personally, I think these songs have some aspect of her life.

I went to her Jkarta concert a few weeks ago and literally spent the first few songs bawling my eyes out even tho it was not the ballad section. The concert was beyond amazing. She is truly incredible. You really need to experience her concert in your life.

Due to the way you both interact, I recommend watching "IU's Palette EP18." In the episode titled "[아이유의 팔레트🎨] 우리는 더 행복해질 거예요 (With 유인나) Ep.18," IU invites her very close friend Yoo In-na (who is 11 years older than her). You will see a completely different side of IU, and their interactions are very interesting. I believe you will really enjoy the interview content of this episode. IU has written several songs for Yoo In-na (some of which are unreleased). In this episode, Yoo In-na performs these songs, and they also sing a duet together.

I was at this exact concert in Seoul in 2022. We were still required to wear a face mask then, which was a blessing really because I was already ugly crying at the first song. 😂 IU gives your heart the ability to listen.

You need to watch IU's interaction with Suga on his SUCHWITA show, episode 24. It will help you understand how IU moved through her 15-year career and what she plans for the future. Insightful and you get to see how natural and relaxed she is on talk shows. I believe she also brought up and explained what her My Sea performance at her Golden Hour concert meant to her.

When IU concert took place in Korea, if you look around, you can see a lot of people crying as soon as you hear the first verse of IU's first song. Perhaps because IU is the same person on the outside and inside, her speech sounds more sincere even when she says the same thing as anyone else, and I think the more people who are tired of life, the more comfort she gets. So, the natural tears that come out after seeing IU are a little different from the tears of joy that come out of emotion after seeing a pop star. You compared it to Mother Teresa, which seems to be an appropriate metaphor in my experience.

This concert was her 1st Concert just after the pandemic, 90,000 ticket of 2days concert just sold out within 5 minutes & more than 4 Hundred 50 thousands unique people visited the site for tickets.

Oh, I'm first?😁 Edit: about the sudden popularity, her song 'Good day' really made her a nation's little sister at the age of 18. She once talked about her anxiety of being popular. She said that there were a time when she leaves her suitcase at the door since anytime, she thinks she might lose it all. She even had eating disorder and developed a stage fright, I think it was the year 2014. This kind of thought reflects on her song 'lost puppy' where she kinds of see herself being abandoned..that's insecurity is also one of her driving force in expanding her musicality..she strived to learn and be better on how to compose, write and produce music and in 2015 finally released an album written by IU and produced by IU, Chatshire.

IU Concert is one of the best concerts by all artists in Korea. It has the most perfect gender ratio and the most ideal age range. There is a steady influx of young fans, and since he has enough experience to be classified as a mid-career singer, he also has many middle-aged fans. Maybe it is similar to Korea. I went to IU con in Jakarta last month. Gender ratio is pretty balanced, a bit more female than male. Diverse mix of people from all ages. From what I saw mostly seems 20-30s, some teens and 40-50s, and a few kids.
