When it comes to artistry, Roman is incredible. It’s really important not to compare different figure skaters to each other because this sport is so subjective and there are so many factors that go into determining an athletes success. That being said, the fact that he finished 6th in the free program at his first olympics is astonishing and I am so proud of him!💕

Have the feeling that even the 6th place in the team event will bring the bronze medal for team Canada. And it was very important to show good result at Worlds - first just for him to finish the season at high level and of course the second spot for Canada for next year extremely important. Things happen when they have to happen ( a little bit philosophy)

Unfortunately he was sixth of six in the free program at the olympics - it was in the team event. in the individual event he didn't qualify for the frees :( I agree he's fantastic artistically and I'm glad he managed to step up his game for worlds!

Good program, not perfect. However a program with only 2 quads has no chance of finishing in top 5

@@longarmoftheOOHLALA i think Camden has 2 quads (one 4T in a combo, same as Roman) but i agree! and he saved Canada's 2 spots, really glad he could finish the season on a high and he deserved that

@@longarmoftheOOHLALA No need to mention as well that Roman had great sense of music, his interpretation and pure artistry are like anybody else in the men circuit.

Roman's problem is his head (and potentially high height/weight). He always makes really bad mistakes and here he could have been 10-15 points higher. Also, I feel like they have to do something to help him adjust the jumps since he's so tall. This is a terrible shame since he's really talented and musical and I'd watch him over pretty much 90% of his competitors.

@@TheFlowMind What I would totally agree is that he is one of the most watchable figure skaters. Absolutely each athlete has issues to solve to improve in future. Roman has a lot of potential and some things to improve which could help him to be on the very TOP which I would gladly see in future as he is my favorite figure skater. Really hope that Skate Canada, his coaching team will pay special attention to him and will help to improve all this things.
