You are absolutely right. I have changed my chain sprocket set from TVS. They charged me about 3,200 and it is NOT Brass coated. Its been only 10,000 kms with the new one and it already gives me a weird sound when I am accelerating at a constant 50kmph :/

Bro, you clear all my doubts. I am facing same issues around 1.5 years with my Apache RTR 200 4v bs6 2021 model. I also visited the Apache dealership since my bike making noice. But they said there is no any problem with my bike. But i am very irritated by this noise and irritated with the Apache dealership also. And i am also looking for this rolon brass coated chain set. Thankyou bro for clearing all my doubts about chain noise.

Quick reckoner of list of spares: Rolon Brass Chain and Sprocket kit (13x45): HPORC 332 Rear Sprocket Bearing: 1339120 (RS1C3 6205) Lower chain guide: N9127850 Upper chain guide: N9092440 Rubber hub: 1181150 Front sprocket lock: M7080870 ----- Couldn't figure out the other ball bearing set of 2 @5:33 (1339510) and one above that.

I am using rolon chain from around 7k Km and rhe difference we can notice immediately...on high speeds this chani is ❤ ...less noise

I done this modification on my 2020 Apache 160 4v bs6 2 years ago with brass coating chain and it looks very good and performance wise very nice .

Try to oil your chain bro, it should help, if still not then try to check if the chain is aptly tight, agar wo bhi sahi hai to rubber ka chain guide hota hai wo check kar lena ki wo wear out hua hai ya nahi

Hii Bro After watching your Apollo tyre vlog even I had changed my both tyre of Apache rtr 200 and upsize 140/70/ r17 and front 100/80/17 (Trampler XR) but the Gear ratio has decreased for example more acceleration less power in sport mode as compared to stock tyres, I think Power is lacking somehow,,,,,,,,,,

Tramplr ST is really good... i got it as soon as it was available for sale! It is really good set of tyres for apache and for indian city street conditions... go for it... also get both front and rear tyres together... both of tramplr st... it is really good, you won't regret it... go for ST for city / highway riding with good offroading capabilities... go for XR if you do more of offroading... I would prefer ST...

mera mechanic bhi ye hi bolta hai, Tappet noise is due to oil heating up and becoming thin, wo normal hai, kuch mat karo usko LOL. but mai kese samjhau ki new bike me to esa koi noise nahi ata tha.

Try to record engine noise at cold start & record after 10km or until u feel heat from engine, compare if both are same noise u need fix tappet.

Bro seriously i am facing the same issue of unequal sound and i dont know the reason behind and no answer from tvs too, my bike is ridden only 25k

Apache 200 4v is a good machine but what I got was a bad one. The amount of parts replaced under warranty is on next level. The list goes as Front Caliper with brake pads. Front alloy wheels. Headlight Assembly. Speedometer Assembly. Steering Cone Set. Right switch gear. Tappet ( Intake and Exhaust ) Cam gear ( Intake and Exhaust ) Starter motor. Starter Relay. Front Chain Sprocket. Gear Position Sensor ( 7 times ) And now, looks as if the head needs to be replaced ( There's still audible tappet sound ) Along with speedometer ( As the display tends to dim out randomly) and front brake lever ( Making squeaky sound with a spongy feel ). It's a 2022 model. Imagine the horror I have to face. Planning to file consumer complaint.

problem is rolon doesn't provide spare sprockets. You have to buy the whole chain kit again
