Rolling Stone, Mick Jagger Plays Piano & Sings Backstage While Charlie Watts & The Stones Join in

Музыка

Mick Jagger begins by singing "Worried About You" during a sound check at an empty Stadium during their 2003 40 Licks Tour. The other members of the Stones add layers of musical sound as they join in, one by one moving towards a musical crescendo.

I think you're right. IMHO, the sentiment also applies to a number of other bands. However, much as contemporary music as performed by various teenage "pop stars" receives significant and often valid criticism, there are up and coming musicians out there. They can play their instruments. Give them a few years and, no, they won't be like the Stones, but hopefully they'll be as impressive in a related (or completely different) style, and valued just as much by younger generations.

I’m 20 years old and saw them live for the first time about 2 years ago for my birthday. My parents and I bought general admission tickets, got to our seats and by pure luck, the security guard upgraded our seats. Was extremely fortunate enough to have seen Charlie’s singer front row and also be right in front of Keith. I’ll never forget it. Greatest rock and roll band ever, and the greatest band ever (along with the Beatles, the who, and Zep) always!

I really like these "inside looks" when bands are just rehearsing somewhere or otherwise musically messing around, especially in the studio. Sometimes you get a glimpse of the creative process, as well as being able to get a feel for each player's personality. And seeing just how each individual interacts with others in a very casual setting. RIP Charlie Watts - You were among the steadiest drummers out there and served as the band's backbone....

lol....I've never seen them when they were on time...1980 Oakland 'Some Girls'...2+ hours late. Santana put on an excellent show. I believe something went bad with sound system because the Stones weren't bad at all, but they sounded like crap, if that makes any sense.
