SuA, Jiu and Siyeon have acknowledged the MV in their IG stories. And yeah, the girls killed this cover. The original stage cover was fairly kickass too. And hot. Can’t forget hot.

The table scene was obviously a call back to Deja Vu. There were a LOT of references to DC MVs here. I think every time I look at it again, I discover one or two more.

Yeah, just that opening scene has at least call backs to Deja Vu (the table setting), BOCA (the red blindfolds), PIRI (the columns and clock), and (maybe) Chase Me (the small mirror on the left). All in all, a fantastic M/V by a fantastic group covering/honoring another fantastic group.

When your bias in rolling quartz is the teacher to your bias on dreamcatcher on the instrument that you like is just ...!!!

I love how everyone is so tough looking and then Iree is still just a ray of sunshine the whole time. The girls really make this song their own and they need to collab with DC immediately!

Iree's smile was what got me to check out all the vids Rolling Quartz had out a year or so ago. We also need a behind the scene of her straddling Areum and laying on YoungEun's thigh.

Rolling Quartz is so enourmously musically talented... Their cover is fantastic!

I love the handful of Dreamcatcher easter eggs in the MV. I've always loved Good Night, and I love that RQ actually did things the right way and involved DCC immediately. While DC content is very scarce at the moment with whatever they're preparing for, I'm happy RQ's keeping the rock alive in the K-music scene.

The bassist could slap me and I would still say "EPIC!"

This version sounds so much more epic and heavy than their first cover - after adding the finishing touches by DC's creative company. 🔥 Not just the sound, but also the cinematography, lighting and the outfits.

I'm also a sucker for Iree's bright smile.

I'm so proud to be a hardcore Diadem as i am a hardcore Somnia, I'm so proud of them, even Dreamcatcher members cheer and support them. Also, Iree is my smiling goddess and bias and one scene of her at 2:52 almost made me have a heart attack because she was too hot and sexy in it, but sadly that scene is just 3 secs so i had to screenshot it to keep it forever. So all i will say is Rolling Quartz fighting! Dreamcatcher fighting! 🤘😎🔥

This was fire. You mentioned that there needed to be a female band out there playing to the masses. Well there is a band called Bandmaid that is just that. If you haven’t heard them before , I HIGHLY recommend you check them out… either on your own or react to them. They are 5 beautiful Japanese girls who dress in maid outfits and play amazing rock music that is catchy .. they have tons of videos and songs to dive into. If you haven’t heard of them, I recommend checking out the video for the song Domination.

Heck of a lot more than just Band-Maid. Nemophila, Trident, Doll$Boxx, Lovebites, Hanabie, Scandal, ... (I do like BM best though). The list of all female rock bands from Japan is just so enormous but so many people that watch this have no clue at all. Makes me sad. Maybe finally Korea having fairly decent female Rock group will open peoples eyes.

I didn't quite understand the bit about the directors; apparently the director of _Dreamcatcher's_ Good Night MV has his own company, and the guy who directed _RQ's_ Good Night MV works for him. So yeah, they were able to compare notes a _lot._ I think you grasped that quicker than I did. 😜 The main set they used is the same one DC filmed their Odd Eye: Dystopia dance video (the one where Dongie revealed herself as the one behind the mask), and I _think_ it may have been used for the "Last Supper" scene in Deja Vu too; the chandelier certainly matches. The description mentions the theme of trying to discover their sixth sense using their five human senses... and each member represents her own sense, just as Deukae's members each represent their own nightmare. Bassist Arem = Sound Guitarist Iree = Vision Drummer Yeongeun = Touch Vocalist Jayoung = Taste Guitarist Hyunjung = Scent Fighting has 6 tracks. The first three are reworked versions of their original songs, Delight, Holler (my personal favourite, and Jayoung's) and Rock & Roll Paradise. The second three are covers. First we have Good Night, which I think you've heard of... 😏 Track 5 is Azalea, originally by rock singer Maya, released in 2003. As much as I love Dreamcatcher, Good Night is not the best song on the mini album. Don't get me wrong, I'm here for this shit, but Azalea, Higher, Rock and Roll Paradise? Daaaaamn, those songs... Rolling Quartz is a gem, hope they'll be with us for a very long time. And I hope they will remake other, not so rock DC songs. I would love to hear an Airplane rock remake. :-)

RQ covered Goodnight about a year ago, they just finally did a studio recording and MV to it.
