That was just a reference from one of her clients(?), which the old tianshu guy disagreed with. So i dont think it really applies here. Also, it did seem they tried to make her …too Cool? Idk, something about her irked me. I think its the attitude. But thats part of her charcter i suppose

For anyone Wondering, Yelan's design is based on the Hong Kong Gambling King Movies of the 80s. More modern design, likely to symbolize Liyue moving to a new age. Yelan's face when she sees the Cat Xiao Dice. And Xiao's menacing theme playing as cat Xiao attacks Itto. This is perfection.

two things I loved about this masterpiece. chibi Ayaka trying to make sure Traveler doesn't get hot is so cute- and then. dice xiao. or as I called instead, tofu xiao. he came in out nowhere, having cat ears and tail and began chomping on Itto's hair. the question is, will he chomp on Traveler [in this case Lumine]'s hair or will he ask for headpats?
