This one brings back some memories. Learned a lot from this episode when I did the floors on my '87 Trans Am.

I worked in a body shop for 10 years. But it was never at this level. I really enjoy seeing the Improvement in methods and techniques. We didn't have clecos, We had a bucket full of vice grips and a flanger. We had a string and a tape measure. We did have a Sharpie though. You guys are great. This is a real fun show to watch. You know what's funny when you look in the car and you think it's straight, and you wonder what's under it? Rock on.
my high school car was a '66 lemans ,, factory 8-track , bucket seats , rally stripes ,, my friends always wanted to ride with me ! Even though my car was 20 years old,, oh the memories !
1:54 the entertainment in the early 2000 shows
i agree lou, the rarer a car gets the more we need to save it.
I really like that it still has the Poncho mill under the hood. Kudos to you guys!
That Torino Cobra looks badass brother.
I miss seeing Lou. He just jumps in a does things, learning as he goes. He'd be a great guest fabricator on Roadkill. This show was a regular for me.
Gotta love Lou. The Lemans is coming a long way.

He meant to say, “keep the FUNK out of your seams!” At the end. I confirmed this when I talked to him at Detroit Autorama back in 2012.
I just started watching your videos. I have to say lou adds style to everything. Keep up the good work guy's. Enjoyed it very much.

The worst job I ever had was sticking the sound deadening material on the rear roof posts of those things in 1967 at the Lakewood Atlanta Plant from 4 to 12 every night. If the Vin number has an "A" in the middle that might have been on of my units. It made the U.S. Navy in the middle of the Vietnam war after that seem like paradise.
Yay! More 4:3 stretched to 16:9 making Lou and company look supah WIDE! lol Thanks,
Party at designed some fabulous cars in the sixties and seventies. Look forward to see this again!
Can't wait for the next one

great video
I grew watching this dude and i just recognized the long hair dude is a future host.
outstanding!!!
The cadence of their speech in these videos crack me up
Miss Lou but why did he yell at us all the time. Felt like my High School shop teacher 😂😂
Torino GT is basically a Ford Falcon XB.
I appreciate seeing these era cars restored, they ain't makin em anymore, so fix em up!
Ill say it again Lou Is Awesome
One thing I loved about the LeMans for the 67 model year was the rear quarter gills. Sad no one makes reproductions of those fenders, the smooth ones are nice, but the gills just make it look so much more aggressive.

Christian Kanhai Yep. Like the look. Nothing wrong with a LeMans. Tired of clones.
Lou left this show, went to Car fix and now he left that one too. BRING BACK LOU!
Man, I forgot how anarchic these shows' senses of humour were back in the 2000s 😆
They make it look so easy! Doin rear quarters on my old mustang has been a real bitch!
I could hang with that ford!
Looks to me that the quarter panels were in good condition except for the bottom 2 inches or so.
That car might look alright when It's done, although I don't think it will ever be the same again. The right way to do a restoration like that, is to jig up the interior & trunk areas before cutting out & replacing the panels. I've driven in some A body's that were done like that, & like I said before, they are not the same.
Lou, where'd you go on Car Fix?
"BOOM JIGAWOWWOW"
I wonder how this car looks now? This was done a long time ago. Dam they did a lot of work to it.

Limited doesn't always mean the best and they didn't know these cars would be limited. Back then, everything was a la cart when ordering a car...
Speaking of the producer.... How about the Kat who edited this, rather, sized the shot format.... Maybe if the producer spent more time focusing upon his job then screwing around, this wouldn't have happened... Now get busy boss....
