Donnie is one of the toughest men I know. If you remember he fell down and racked his "berries", well after he got home he went to the doctors and found out he had a ruptured testical! I found out later that he was peeing blood and still helping me pack out my bull. THAT'S WHAT YOU CALL A TRUE BROTHER. So if you'r reading this Donnie, Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Trent

WOW, I had a buddy that happened too.. I talked him into taking one of those larger dice(like yatzee) into doc, so when they removed it he could have a square prosthetic.. Doc wouldnt do it and now we call him half sack, but its cool cuz he embraced it and hes back on the Mt.. tough as nails!
"God is good!" and "I'm all in." are some of my favorite quotes from the series.
You guys are over the top incredible people!! Thank you so much for riding this rollercoaster with us! I can't tell you how humbled I am when reading all these comments. I do read every one of them. God Bless all of you!! Trent

How many pounds of meat did you get off that bull Trent?
This may have been the most rewarding hunt I have ever watched. Felt like I was there the whole time, wished I was to congratulate you guys. Trent, there isn't a single bowhunter in the world that deserved that bull more then you. Congrats bud.

Catawissa Kid for real I loved this hunt
Best thing on “TV” in years! You can’t write story lines better than this. Way to go Trent! You deserved that bull. Keep them coming guys! Awesome, awesome series!
Count your blessings when you have a heavy pack on your back. Congratulations Trent. Thanks for having Corey explain that frontal shot more.
TRENT!!!! WOW! This event is BIGGER and far better than the Superbowl by far! (At least if you guys get down on your knee I know it's with the utmost respect and proper direction! Amen!) After putting in a 16.5 hr day and coming home exhausted yesterday at 9pm from the Flight-line and putting a squadron of fighters down for the night I walked in dragging, then my fantastic wife had a warm meal all prepared for me and she already had the video up and waiting for us both to dig into it! We are both just so very excited for you and we were both tearing up with you brother!!! What a fantastic bunch of Brothers!! Praise the Lord! The absolute JOY and fellowship being shared together makes my heart well up. Hope to see any of you some day out in the thick. Donnie, what can I say except Bless you Brother! Amazing, amazing individual! Prayers for everyone of you!
First I want to say THANK YOU to your guy's family, they have sacrificed a lot of time so we could get a be part of your hunts. Second TRENT congratulations on your first 6x6 I know this will not be your last!
I am SO happy for Trent! Way to get it done, man! With the way the prior day finished up I'm sure this was a huge relief. Congrats!!
I’ve watched this video at least 10 times. Cody’s heavy breathing when Trent shoots tells my whole story. It’s all about the team. Not sure it’s as good as the first time, but it still inspires me.
I cried when Trent hugged everyone after he shot his first 6x6 . Great job brother you earned it . It is great that you guys are not afraid to show the whole story
WOW what an awesome hunt, and what a BEAUTIFUL bull! Well earned, Trent. That meat will taste like manna from Heaven for you and your family. I am looking forward to all your next videos and, though I've never hunted elk (just whitetails and mule deer)-watching you guys do this makes me want to get out there, practice calling, and get myself an elk. I personally haven't hunted in seven or eight years due to living circumstances but watching you guys gives me HOPE that I can one day get up at 4 am and grab my rifle (or perhaps one day a compound bow???) and take a long hike into God's country. Thank you guys again for everything you do, who you are, and for your faith. Also, saying a prayer for Donnie for his grit and sheer courage in the face of pain! I pray for quick healing and no long lasting effects from that fall! -Danielle
You guys have stolen the show as far as who I watch and support most in the outdoor industry. It's amazing how you guys are going out of your way to set up all of these giveaways. TRENT! Good job on the bull buddy, you earned it! I'm stoked to see you were able to harvest some meat for the family and cap off Wyoming with a sweet note!🙌🏼
I never thought I would cry watching a video of an elk being shot this was the best series I hope you guys try 2 do this every year
Trent!!!! Yes!! Congratulations brother, so proud you kept pushing and hunting and it all paid off!! Awesome bull man!! Good job brother!
I feel like I’ve been there with you guys the whole way. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to see a group of guys be so successful hunting together than the Born and Raised crew. Mahalo from Maui from a Oregon transplant.
Didn't expect to cry... who starting cutting up the onions? Good job! Well deserved!!
Congrats Trent and crew! The 6 pt curse is over👍🏼
Congrats Trent! Glad to see you were successful. It was stressful to watch the struggle. You guys portrayed the reality of hunting well. Great job!
Wow. What an amazing video. Trent, we were all right there with you. Hard not to feel the raw, real, true emotion of hunting and all that goes into I️t. The ups and downs, highs and lows, and the reward that comes after all the perseverance and hard work! Congrats Trent! You earned every inch of that bull!
I cried when Trent hugged everyone. Finely got a 6point you have earned it great job brother
Trent, you guys are a wonderful example of why we all love bow hunting! #nevergiveup We dealt with that smoke around Labour Day close to the Bighorns. Keep up the great work!
You go Trent! Praise God. That is a beautiful bull!!
You guys are RICH in faith, character, and REAL manliness!!! Way to go Trent! Thanks to the whole BRO and ELK 101 team for inspiring all of us so much!
Trent, the most beautiful thing is the true trophy you got. By no means should you measure your trophy by the size of his antlers, but rather company and joy of the hunt. I truly believe the trophy is in the eye of the beholder. No matter the size of the antlers.
Corey did an incredible job explaining the frontal shot. Best intro I've ever seen.
Way to stick with it Trent !!! Well done !!! It's been a great show to follow !!!
Trent got his bull!........I teared up as well Trent. So exciting watching it unfold!!!
Highly recommend listening to these with headphones. You can hear all the quiet bull bugles and Trents tears. Lol. Great job guys!
My 1 year old smiles and starts dancing when 'Savages' starts, I on the other hand feel a tingle in my canine teeth. You guys are the best thing to happen to hunting, dare I say humanity... true fellowship, because of the outdoors and our great yet under appreciated liberties as Americans. Land of the Free, land of the Faithful. Cheers men, and thank you!
Before this series, I'd never ever seen Elk hunting, or any other hunting really other than following Cameron Hanes on Instagram. He mentioned this series and I've been hooked since. So glad you finally had your moment, Trent. Can't imagine the emotion you've experienced throughout. Massive props for the amazing series.

dan110024 Thank you!
You guys have changed the game when it comes capturing the emotion. Love it and I wish the best for the born and raised crew
Trent you deserve that man! Your the man. You and all the guys know how to get it done. Great job with dealing with the roller coaster emotions with all of the events that have happened. Way to stick with it Trent. God was with you guys. You guys deserved that once again! Great job. Something that you guys will never forget. Like the charcoal face paint by the way Trent😂👍🏼
"Buy tags, not gear!" Best advice I've ever heard!
Trent it was awesome to finally see your persistence pay off. made me feel like I was there with you all hunting. love the show and can't wait to see the rest, especially CO since its my home state.
Congrats Trent!! You guys are awesome! ! You guys represent everything that is good and cherished about hunting, thank you for your love and dedication to this awesome sport we all love!
Dude, the look in your eyes when you found that bull. Priceless. We've all been there on a track. Nothing like the feeling of relief when you find them. Congrats.
Congrats Trent!! that bull was a warrior, you have a story to tell for years to come:)
This is absolutely the most mind blowing series; especially the last two days! Trent, congratulations on a great bull and congratulations to Cory, Dirk and Donnie as well on a most successful hunt! Cudos to Cody and John on the cameras too. Can't wait for Colorado. Thank you so much for putting this series together. Max
Who else here is binge watching the land of the free during this pandemic stuck at home? I tell ya....everytime I watch this particular episode it gives me goosebumps. What an amazing experience. Kudos on such a great series. Best on KZread hands down. 👍👍
Congrats Trent.. i didn't get to watch this until just before midnight but i was still praying you found that bull. i have never been that emotionally invested in watching a hunt on the screen instead of in person. never met you and i am super pumped for you man. i truly believe you guys have changed elk hunting for many people through this Land Of The Free Series. cannot wait to see what the other states have to come.

Well said my friend.
I just watched this 3 years after published to KZread. Wow, this was like the "Field of Dreams" hunt based on who was there. Looking back to those present on this hunt and where they are today says a lot. Some big name hunters on this one. I'm glad I came back to watch it.
Just want to thank you guy`s for the great video`s, through the new technique today, guy`s like me ( old, and all worn out ) can still get excited watching and feeling all the highs and low`s along with you guy`s. Back in the 60`s in eastern Oregon, Cascde Mountains, I hadn`t even heard of an elk bugle or a cow call, or such comfortable back pacs and everything else available today. But being able to watch your videos makes up for all the stuff I`ve missed over the years. Thank you, from one of your couch hunter`s , but still have the hunting instincts in our blood.

Much respect!! I'm sure you have some great stories!! Thank you for watching!
Cannot believe how much emotion a video just gave me congratulations Trent. You just showed us all the many of the lows and highs a hunter goes through to be able to food on the table for their families! This is by far one of the best and satisfying hunting videos I've seen thank you and the rest of the brothers for sharing your experiences with us can't wait for the rest of the states..
Watch a lot of hunting shows , but you guys have raised the bar . By far the best watching out there
Trent finally seals the deal!!! Heck ya brother! Congrats!! Definitely well deserved and earned!!!
Awesome finish, Trent! God is good...all the time. All the time...God is good. I know I speak for many by saying this series is the best on KZread. I have followed the BRO crew for several years and enjoy the method you use to document and share your memories. Showing the emotion you experience and share as a group, and being up front with your faith, is beyond inspiring; it is infectious. God bless, guys. I look forward to much more.
Black and pink makes a full freezer! Way to go Trent!
Trent I'm so proud of you. You persevered mentally and physically. Way to get it done man!
I just got a little anxiety when he said there's only 30 days left!! I wish I could watch these every night until next season! Thanks for making these! Keep up the great work!!
It is an honor to watch yall on these adventures.
This has to be my favorite video of the series so far. I was rooting for you Trent over the past few episodes. I could feel the roller coaster almost like I was in the hunt myself and even teared up a little upon your success. Amazing to see your positivity and determination! Congrats on a very well deserved bull Trent! Keep it up!
Maybe it's the binge watching of these first 14 episodes in less than 48 hours that has me all emotional, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who teared up right along with you guys on this one. Another strange side note is I'm starting to feel like you all are family or good hunting buddies of mine. Awesome stuff gentlemen, keep it up!
Trent I've been waiting for this to happen for you. My 2 year old son and I watch every morning with great anticipation. So happy for you. Congrats!
It is the friendship, dare may I say love these men have for each other that makes this series so powerful.
My hat goes off to Donnie, a true Oregonian. Mahalo and Aloha from the Big Isle "🤙"
Yessss!!!! The wife and I have been rooting for you Trent!!! Congrats on the awesome bull and memories made!
I cried when Trent hugged everyone Finely got a 6point you have earned it great job brother
Redemption. Nice shot on a nice bull! Congrats, Trent. You earned that one...you all did.
Great shot!! Trent. Good job everyone. Unreal team work!
Trent- I have never been happier to see another guy punch his tag. Thank you for sharing this amazing adventure, all the while honoring and putting God first in all you guys do! You ever want to crap/shrimp in the hood canal let me know!
This was the best hunt I have ever witnessed! The elk were being wiley, but you persevered through the obstacles, bolstered each other, and would not give in to the pressure! The teamwork, manly emotions, and tenacity are inspiring! Thank you so much for this project (even if I am late to the game)!
Awesome hunt guys, thanks for all the hard work. Trent, you must have washed the STANK OFF man, glad for you and the family.
Great job Trent. Nothing but respect for you guys. To be open like that on camera. Takes a damn good man!!
Have to say watching this show after getting home from work has been my life since the first episode. Look forward to it every single day. Thinking about next years hunt everyday, this only keeps it going! Most unique "hunting" type show or whatever you wanna say on KZread. Just feels real watching it all. Similar moments and emotions I've been through with the people I share hunts with. Showing nothing but what the hunts all about, moments, sights, sounds, not some commercials and crap interfering. The difference with that is, doing the giveaways for the products that support you guys. Can't say anyone else does that. Yea it's unique to the 50 day show (im guessing, maybe not though) and you might not always be doing it with future shows. But it makes people think you're just here to show what the hunts all about. Pretty special thing. Don't want the 50 days to end! There won't be anything ever like it!
Yeah Trent! Way to get it done! And a big shout out to the whole crew for all the hard work involved
So I’m in my kitchen watching this video and cutting some onions. These ones are potent ;) I don’t know if your intention was to capture an audience who’s rooting for you every day and are so genuinely happy for you and your success but that is what you got. Thanks for being so humble.
I can honestly say, I never thought in a million years a "Elk Hunting" video would bring a tear to my eye....You guys epitomize class in hunting and epitomize my core belief, "Stay in the Fight". Congrats to all of you, it was the ultimate team effort and you all stuck with it.
what a fantastic moment seeing you lay your eyes on that bull, had me worried I will admit. I am so happy for you. Even though it's not about the antlers, seeing you walking out that rack on your pack was a sight to behold, I was in awe at every scene, especially when you tried to make it between those trees. So happy that no-one gave up until you found it.
This is the best video series I've ever seen. Me and my hunting partner have been talking about how real and rad this whole project has been! I never thought I'd be this invested in KZread vodeos and that I'd be that excited to see Trent succeed after so much adversity. I'm stoked to see what the rest of your adventure brings!
Thank you for being responsible hunters and taking the time to track this beautiful creature! Congratulations
Wow, that was one hard earned bull! The heavy pack pulls you down but the pride of filling it lifts you up!
never seen a more positive group of brothers! Happy for y'all!
Sooo happy for you Trent!! I had a ruff year. My freezer is empty. BUT seeing you succeed, made my day! Really! I'm happy for you & Cody getting to experience that together. Nice Six!
That's a shot! OUTSTANDING VIDEO!! AWESOME TO ACTUALLY HEAR THAT BULL STOMPING AND STOP ON A DIME. PING GOES THE STRING!! THE ARROW THUMP! That bull was gonna kick ass or get his ass kicked!
Wow. More than I expected to feel emotionally. Great job Trent !
You talk about emotions....ouf...you set the bar high for the rest of the episode to come...What a roller coaster indeed!
Well Done Trent and BRO crew. I felt so bad for you on losing your elk yesterday. Anyone that has done much hunting has been in your shoes and your roller coaster ride. It was so good to see how you handled it. Elk are amazing creatures and deserve all the respect that you showed them. Again - Well done and well deserved. Nice six point and a tough tracking, great job.
This has been my favorite episode so far, and one of the best I've seen on youtube all together! It's not about the camo patterns, or gear brands (you have a Phelps around your neck hunting w/ Corey for gosh sakes) haha.... it's about the looks on Corey and Trent's faces when they watch the bull walk off after the shot, the joking around, and hugs after finding the bull! Congrats, and keep 'em coming
Way to go Trent! Nice work as a team! Fantastic show of the ups and downs and grit it requires to chase bulls with a bow! Hooyah Never Quit!
wow!! what a great bull Trent!!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier for you bud!! Awesome work Corey on calling and shot placement.
So pumped for you Trent! Such an emotional roller coaster just sitting on my coach!! Cody you're such a stud! What a brother!
Congratulations! Those antlers look great on you! At least you shot it at the top and not the bottom and only a 1/2 a mile. (extra points) gotta say, you guys sure aren't afraid of hard work. Donnie is so awesome. The support and love is amazing. I can almost see God walking with you all. I would love to have a brotherhood like yours.

Thank you so much for the kind words!
Thanks for the awesome series. I am a kiwi, living in New Zealand and have been following each episode. Can’t wait for the next one. Well done!
What a Beautiful Bull, loving the format, taking us on the rollercoaster of emotion and anxiety, if you have experienced any kind of hunting you can relate to this. Now the wife is watching daily and gets what I found so great when hunting in Canada. Just an observation but was it when the stinky kid covered up his arms with a long sleeve that your two best opportunities came along, wondered about face paint and big white bingo wings in the wild. Really looking forward to you being back with Hush in their yard!
Love the look on your face when you find the bull. I have six or more years of running out west to elk. I can't wait to get that feeling.
I truly felt like I was there! I wanted to give you a hug and high five! Good Job Trent, Kody, Corey, Dirk, Donnie and John. Man, it is so hard emotionally especially after yesterday! Great episode. The epitome of elk hunting is episode 19! Perseverance boys!
Seriously guys this video embodied what elk hunting means to me and my family. I thank you so much for sharing your emotion and love for this sport. I have grown up hunting every year with my family on public land no draw tags for cascade unit. We hunt outside of diamond lake Oregon every year. Seeing you guys so close brings me right back to my experiences at elk camp and once again I cannot thank you guys enough for sharing your experiences. Thank you
Can't stop watching these videos they are the bomb!!! Keeps me hunting all year. Trent you are one good guy, Kody as well all you guys are welcome in my camp any day. Do some more hunts with Cory, Dirk and Donny and the Hush crew. It's a great tradition to start. Thanks again for all your hard work and great videos. Keith Fish.
Made me cry like a pixar movie! AWESOME!
Congrats on that beautiful bull too Trent!!! Well earned!
Way to go Trent! Such an awesome moment. I'm glad you finally got your bull! It was well earned, and deserved! You hunted hard my friend. And it payed off. God is good!
Thanks for giving honor to God. Because it is by His Grace that we can live and enjoy His creation. Giving you that bull was God saying “I love you!”
Congrats on your first 6 point Trent! Well deserved. When I watched the video & saw the bull I immediately noticed the 6 & was hoping you'd get him.
Wow, what a hunt. Great job Trent! This has been a First Class Series. Thank you for being who you are! Thank you for making the effort to film and edit the video you shoot. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I feel like I am right there with you. Elk hunting is my favorite Big game animal to hunt. I look forward to watching your next hunt. Corey Dirk, Donnie and John Thank you making this series the BEST! Bugle On!!!
Guys, thank you. I am grateful for the high quality and personal videos. We have all been there, searching, hoping and believing we will find our quarry. Each year the camaraderie brings us closer, the experiences teach us patience and build our respect. Thank you for keeping the dreams alive and the moments precious.
Outstanding bull and what an awesome hunt! Brotherhood and fellowship, as good as it gets. "This is our land, use it!" Well said bud.
You all appreciate the help and work all the guys of the hunt put in. Top standing fellas 100% born and raised fan here👍👍
So proud of you Trent way to stick with it. You guys are a true inspiration.
This series is simply my favorite. I have been captivated from the beginning and await eagerly for my daily fix. So happy you got that bull - wow - felt like I was there with ya. Draw my name for Emma and no way would I take it as you have to many memories with it ... I will give it right back to you Trent.
