I'll be honest, I had completely forgotten I was subscribed to this beautiful man until his latest video popped in my feed and I was like, "what the hell is this?" After clicking it, I was appalled by the subtlety of his critique of president tantrump... of how sublimely he tore apart the worst joke of the 21st century. Impressive work! Out of curiosity I explored the next video of his in the recommended column. I was amazed at the absolutely mesmerizing quality of it; the editing, the visual styling, the non-cringe edginess, the leagues-above mastery of technique. So I went to video tab and binged every single one of them until I got to this one. "Wait, you mean to tell me the guy who spawned that twisted Nox character is the same who made this fucking classic 11 fucking years ago?!" was the first thing that formulated in my head. Not only that by I had also missed 11 more years of content despite having had this account for longer than that. KZread, you stupid algorithm bitch, how dare you deprive me of this glory for that long?

Oh my god... I watched this flash animation all the time, but I never really paid attention to who the artist was because I was a kid. Cut to like... 17 years later, in my 30s, coming across James Lee again, for all of his stylish as fuck "Nox" videos, and loving the shit out of it. I remember watching this in 2009/10/11. Part of my childhood when i was briefly interested in roller coasters.

This song made me feel so disturbed for awhile as a kid

Given what James' current content is like, I kept expecting some dark twist, like the child's head being knocked off. Because of this the entire video was very tense, I kept thinking "Is this going to be the moment when he dies and the video goes very dark."

There’s something about internet animations that make me always assume “they’re prolly gonna die at the end”
