    The closed end of the clip must be facing the direction of movement. I can’t say 100% judging by the footage it’s facing the other way, but it looks like it…

    @@RedBeardedPadre It’s just an extra safety precaution. Unwanted contact would not cause the clip to slip off. Standard (good) practice on bikes and motorcycles. But there are of course forward/reverse situations where it applies less.
