A distinctive feature of the C Series is pressure cutting or “crush cutting”
As a rule, the recommendation “crush cutting” is indicated on screen fabrics, that means cutting by pressure, it allows you to get a clean smooth edge. During pressure cutting, the fibers are sealing, preventing the pile from crawling out. This effect is especially good on screen type fabrics.
Compared with an electric disc knife, there is an advantage in that the fabric does not adhere to the knife and does not need to be constantly cleaned. Another advantage of cutting by pressure is the insensitivity of the knife to threads and weaving of fabric. When cutting by pressure, these threads are cut lengthwise and a smooth cut is obtained regardless of the fabric structure and threads orientation.
Pressure cutting is also well on zebra fabrics, which cannot be cut with an ultrasonic knife in two layers due to strong soldering between the layers.
Pressure cutting is great for soft fabrics of Roman shades. We get a good clean cut with fiber fixation.
The electric disc knife can be installed additionally on tables Series C, such a table is called CR or an ultrasonic knife, such a table is called CS table with two additional knives at once, CRS table.
The table includes the unwinding shafts, back light section for checking of the fabric, a double-sided pneumatic clamp, an optical safety barrier that stops the clamping of the bar when hands or any interfering object are under the clamping bar, automatic change of the tool (ultrasonic or disc knife), adjustment of the speed of the knife , fabric control sensor. The fabric control sensor reduces cycle time while cutting short fabrics.
Additional options:
Fabric roll centering. Unwinding shafts are fixed stationary in the basic configuration. Optionally, you can set the Fabric roll centering system, which allows you to move the roll of fabric in the lateral direction remotely, what makes the alignment of the fabric on the table easier.
Parallel stop. The parallel stop helps to set the specified size fast. Parallel stop is installed on the entire width of the table. The opposite ends of the stop are synchronized with a tooth belt that allows you to accurately set the parallel alignment of the cutting line on a table 4 (four) meters wide. The lower part of the stop have no clearance to the table along the entire length, which does not allow the fabric to slip under the stop bar.
Closing plate. Automatic closing plate prevents the fall of the fabric in the gap where the knife moves. This is particularly actual for very soft fabrics. If you cut the printed fabric, the markup of the cut line on the closing plate will help you make an exact cut along the given line.
Cable pull control allows to clamp fabrics without using hands.
