Rolleiflex SL66E & ADOX CHS 100 II
I am totally blown away by this awesome Rolleiflex SL66E. What an absolute GEM of a camera! Extremely sharp photo's (with the right film) and a high quality built camera! It has been a while since I was so enthousiastic about a medium (square) format camera. I really prefer this Rolleiflex SL66 to a Hasselblad 500-series. The ADOX film was a perfect match for this stunning camera!

Thank you so much for this video. This Sl66E is my favorite camera, I dont have one yet but i'm plannig on get one soon.I did not know about the leaf shutter lenses and I guess that ehy might be hard to get. Please continiu showing the results on this camera. Thanks again
About the film... I think it is Absolutely Fabulous! We had some struggle in the beginning, but Henk will go into detail about that! To sum it up: Contrasty, sharp nice tonal range, but not quite 100 ISO... more in the 64 iso speed. Check the shadows they are really dark. If you like that, please shoot at 100, do you want more shadow detail, shoot it at 64! And take 15% off of the developping time. Manually developped in Ilford ID11, 7.5 minutes @20°C. First minute continues agitation after that 5 seconds after each 30 seconds...
Awesome results! And I totally get you for not liking the 500-series; I had a great camera for a while, but it was hard to use, so I sold my whole kit and bought a 14mm f/2.8 for my Nikon AF system, some film and a camera bag. And I agree, you nailed the compositions in 6x6!

Beautiful camera. The film looks a bit soft or is it the compression of KZread. The image of the bycicle I like the most.

@ThePhotographyMinimalist Negs are excellent and VERY contrasty, to be honest I can't really tell the difference between what I developed this morning and what I saw on the screen just now. Maybe he was just a touch early, when not all the resolutions are available yet! Sometimes it takes a while before they do...
This one is Rolleiflex SL66 SE. Plate name is missing, but only SE model have int and spot metering. E models are missing spot.

There is some much more totally wrong with that particular camera! ... you can not have a silver focusing knob on a "SL66SE"... nor "SL66E"... [ ! ]
