KOF 98 UM, XIII, XIV We can recommend him all 😂

Justin..whenever you combo with Whip...please omit out close Standing A as that move whiffs over most crouching characters ( you can use it on very fat characters like Chang , Maxima) So basically here are the gist of Whip's bread and butter combos MUST USE . Step 1 When very close to opponent do Near Stand B twice ( max up to 3 times but not recommended) , do down B into her Hcf + A or her super qcb hcf + punch. 2) when you manage to successfully land a clean crossup or not with jump C , follow up with the combos as stated in Step 1. You will be using this combo a lot often as she is not a combo character. I mean she has damaging BC combos at the corner but it is not practical for using it in a high level match . If you can do it all the better for you...but the miscue rate is very high. The bread and butters are the ones you will be using it a lot more often during in game play. You can do jump in combos with her jump D too aside from her jump C ( cross up or not) but you gotta be near and deep in order to connect with your close Standing B and follow up with combo of your choice. Please get these basic combos right and put it in to muscle memory so it will come naturally for you. All the best bro...

When using Xiangfei against Kasumi in air to air ...SPAM Xiangfei's jump back or jump forward C and preferably as early as possible . Jump A is very high priority too although it does less damage but wins in most air to air battles. So spam her jump C or jump A against most of the cast...dont forget that jump CD is good for air to air too...but has to be done early in order to be effective. So basically your best bet for air to air against Kasumi ( or most of the cast in general) are both her jump C and jump A . Spam down C ( with good timing ) as an anti air.

02(UM) is actually so fast paced a big part of the nooch is just jockeying for position from the midrange to start your attack setup safely. The rest of the time you wanna be staying way out of their attack range (or make it hard for them to enter your space by sticking out lights /vertical jump attacks that extends your hitbox into the areas you THINK they are trying to move to). Unless you're baiting a DP you don't actually want to be reacting to their normal movement with an appropriate punish.

You need to fight a mexican in this man, even Emil can't understand their sorcery

Yeah Kof 11 and Kof 2000 is dominated by the Asian scene (Japan,Korea & Taiwan) same goes for 02 UM and 98 UM Mexicans dominate Kof 98 and 02's vanilla versions and Kof 13 is pretty much dominated by Japan Korea Mexico

Kof 2002 UM is one of my favourite Kof games alongside Kof 98 UM Kof 2000 Kof XI and Kof XIII.

rollback has given this game so much new life. Runs like butter and good netcode is so important for an execution-heavy game like KoF.

@@maximuscesar Depends, in my experience 13 is way more popular with people who don't really play KoF or haven't played the others. Most KoF players I know still prefer 98 or 2002 over it. Also, KoF doesn't really sell well enough to justify that kind of costly work, XIII almost killed SNK all over again because of how costly it was and how bad it sold.

KoF 14 is basic, just looks like garbage. L Bring back 2D sprites, even if its building off the XII engine, that’s still the most beautiful 2D engine to date.

Its good seeing Justin play kof 02um. Imo 02um is the best kof

I'm pretty sure I remember a guy named Emil back when fightcade was called 2df, I think he had the reputation of being the best and that was like 15 years ago, he probably played for many years before that. My guy is probably 60 years old at this point, I don't know how he hasn't developed arthritis. I always wanted to get into kof, but everybody in the lobby speaks only spanish and nobody is willing to teach.

Emilkof's skill level is roughly about the skill level of a C rank in fightcade 2002 and about B rank in 98. not saying that his skill level is low but that the skill level of ranked C players in 2002 on fightcade is pretty high nowadays , i guess the pandemic

Yes, rollback got added on PC Steam version. This was beta test period, now rollback has been removed, will be back when final version is released, soon.

Si, el rollback es para la version PC. Te recomiendo que lo agarres en Steam. Incluso si tienes una PC de muy bajos recursos, este juego corre muy bien y el rollback es fantástico. No me canso de recomendarselo a todos.

@@ultrawillpower2737 A lot of big name fighting game series (looking at you Japan) don't have good rollback in their games but instead have a laggy delay based netcode. So when a game from a big franchise like KOF gest GGPO rollback, it becomes a big deal.

Justin , search on youtube for Aze Xiangfei. Worlds best Xiangfei for general strategy, tips , mixups and mindgames. And matchups. Please do so in order to level up your game. I am very sure YOU will improve fast .

Tips for Justin Wong to improve his Xiangfei game. After you do that rebound super thingy ...do an uppercut AB ( YES press those 2 buttons at the same time for extra damage) or either uppercut AD for the heavy version too. By pressing and combining those buttons ...you will deal extra damage for both the B and D versions of the uppercut. After Xiangfei's command grab ( near opponent hcb forward + A or C ) , press AC buttons together to switch sides with your opponent and continue the combo. It is a shortcut instead of doing the ACTUAL COMMAND. please take note of that...tell me what you think Justin.

I waited so long to see this. Also, Kasumi is kinda unbalanced in this game. Kasumi and Nameless are unbalanced.

@@kaceejones2282 Your reply is confusing to begin with. Kof 02's ost is all made of recycled music from the classics, and almost all choices were great. But the actual renditions and the audio quality was very poor because of particular hardware issues. Saying the music isnt good might either mean the actual compositions or just things like the audio quality. Now, if you indeed meant the former case, well... that's a really really unpopular opinion. Im a long time fan from south America (where the og arcade culture was stronger for Snk than Capcom) and i honestly never saw anyone who doesnt value those songs. But about Kof 02's own (poor) versions, that's another story, everybody is aware the versions are low quality.

want to point out the bad advice in Jwong's chat that "you can turn the input delay down to 3 or 2" in KOF2k2UM. You don't choose the input delay in kof2k2. You choose the *maximum* input delay. The game will calculate an appropriate delay for you once you get in a match. This is why people recommend you leave it around 9.

The whole point of rollback netcode is that you can set it to 0f delay if you want to, but there will be more rollback/frameskip as a result.

They program combos to a single button online! Lol...I haven’t played in maybe 10 years and I’m getting destroyed. I then go to training mode an accidentally hit a button...this 10 hit combo comes out...turns out you can program everything. I’d never enter a tournament

No it's not. UM fixes many of the problems from regular 2002. It also greatly buffed many of the weaker characters, though nerfed a few that didn't deserve it (like Vanessa, May Lee).
