Alright...I understand now....the folds I spoke of windup as you push the top of the Rolling Lock from the tailgate toward the truck cab...then as a large rolled up entity they "sit in" that drain tray, meaning if the drain tray is clogged and full of water...the rolled-up top just laps the water up as you drag the top back toward the tailgate to close and lock it. So YOU ARE THE BOMB, DOG, Ive had my Tundra Crewcab Platinum for 3-4 years now, and the water leak has always aggravated me, and now no more. WHOOPEEEE !!

Awesome! Still might have to clean them every once in a while, but the drains will allow the water to get through for sure!

Sweet, dude...great solution. But I was convinced it was leaking thru the top somehow, because when I open and close my Roll and Lock....water pours out of the underneath side of the top, as if rainwater if getting in around the component you removed to get to that drain tray ?? Like water is being held in each metal or composite "fold" as they override each other opening and closing....(looking up from the bed at the underneath side of the panels ) water is pouring out of mine from those folds ?? Does that make sense ? It doesn't seem to make sense that the water filling up in that drain tray is what's causing my leak problem, but maybe that drain tray is the whole dealio. I'm going to go right now and remove it.
