Posting this marvelous Lee Sims roll was a collaborative effort with @rowanbelt3612 who has now made a complete and very accurate transcription of this song. Yet in its day, it was rather risqué.... especially coming out of that Edwardian Era where socks weren't even seen let alone rolled down! Dresses up to their knees, bobbed hair and flattened chest lines, .... those flappers put their mother's and grandmother's in shock!! You ever watched "Thoroughly Modern Millie" with Julie Andrew's and Mary Tyler Moore?

@@SevenPlus65 I haven't seen the movie though I know Julie Andrews from at least three different other hit movies from the golden age of broadway. I imagine it's something though!

@rowanbelt3612 can you do that even the other way around arranging and playing from a bigband transcription? I’m looking for quite some time for “the Orient Express” of G. Mohr(1933) in an arrangement for piano and still haven’t found it. That might be an interresting project too. With a “studio” recording I can have it transfered to a roll. Can you help me out 😃
