Artwork by Take Me Back Pirate Radio Archives. Recorded on Mon 28th Oct 2002. This early Grime set features Roll Deep's DJ Karnage, MC Wiley, MC Dizzee Rascal, MC Jamaka B, MC Breeze, MC Scratchy, and MC Reptile.
2002 saw the crossover from Garage to Grime and by the end of that pivotal year you saw many Grime tracks being released. Similarly to Wiley success in 2001, he flooded underground record shops with tens and tens of releases which to took up whole sections in some shops. I'm not axgsagerating when I say there was a whole section for Wiley. Big upload from the very beginning of grime. Roll Deep were the ones to listen to on radio expecially when Jamakabi B and Dizzee were on the set

7:55 - Track ID: Wiley - Ice Rink, the MC spitting over it is Jamakabi 10:18 - Track ID: Dizzee Rascal - Go, the MCs spitting over it are firstly Wiley followed by Breeze. 15:26 - East Connection - We're Ready (Wiley Devils Mix), with MC Wiley, MC Breeze, MC Scratchy and Jamakabi spitting bars over it.
