Congrats! I have the exact same watch. Picked it up in Rome when I did my first solo trip. Roman dial to remind me of all the hard work (reminds me of grade school how I learned about how to write essays/researching using Roman numerals). The clasp is not discontinued. Any sizr 36mm or above has the other type of clasp. I like the hidden clasp too that’s why I got the 31mm. Plus I don’t want too much attention by getting the 36. Too I’m ur face.

I got my Rolex Date Just with champagne dial & diamond hour markers this year, I think it was in March! Since I was waiting for the classic one for about 2 month ( there is waiting list for that one in Canada :)). I went for 36mm, and there is a big plus to that big closure, what you did not like, you can extend it. So you can make it smaller and bigger with this big closure. Example if in summer you are swollen you can make it bigger (your watch bracelet). And now wearing it for a lot of month, you never see that part of watch!

My Rolex is the one with the diamonds snd gold face. 20 years old. Still no scratches xx. Congratulations xx

Yesssss!! I got the same exact thing that me and my husband and my son picked up yesterday!! I watched this vlog when you dropped it first! So happy!! This is my push present and I’m due in March! I got it on retail too so it’s extra special! I was thinking of just getting it preloved or at a reseller but it’s too expensive! Some are 200% mark up! Great thing I waited for a call! Happy for us!!!

Lovely watch!!! It keeps dropping from and getting added back to my list

I have 2 pieces of 31mm Rolex watches too ,one is Perpetual in Purple color dial and the other one is 2 tone yellow gold in olive color dial, with diamond index, both bought within 2 years. Both of them are in osyter bracelets.

Mine is exactly the same but with diamond markers 😊 love the size and colour! 💕

Stainless still can also scratch but not a lot, gold is easily scratched because its a soft metal although a noble one.

Beautiful. I have a similar 36 mm but with a gold face with "Rolex" embossed all over it. I use the automatic winder because I don't wear it every day and it's a pain to wind up!

I think they used to make the 36 with the same crown clasp but stopped 😒 I'm not 💯 sure if they will also stop producing 31mm with the hidden clasp 🧐

Congrats on your purchase! I have a mother of pearl with diamond dial, smooth bezel and oyster bracelet for 18 years now and it’s more gorgeous, timeless and classic today than when I first purchased it. My mother (umpteen years ago) had the jubilee bracelet and I find that’s a bit dated. But to each their own. Enjoy!

I actually didn't research that I can make my perfect one because there are elements that I like in different models that I want altogether in one! The jubilee bracelet is definitely my favourite kind of band! You are absolutely right about it being feminine! I have a Michael Kors one with a band that resembles the jubilee and I get soooo many complements on it! The style is called the 'Lexington' in case anyone was looking for an alternative!

I like them and would love to get one but there are other watches I'd love to get first before an AP. 🙃🙃

I’ve grown to love the two toned Rolex especially stacked with the love bracelet and the VCA 5 motif Alhambra bracelet… that’s next on my wishlist and watching this video is makes me want one even more!
