The best rose gold Rolex is the president with the green dial and the second is definitely the GMT

not really, prices are obnoxiously high for NEW Rose Gold Root Beer at 36K on eBay and used at 35K. Other than having the full bracelet in ROSEGOLD 18K - I am not able to justify paying TWICE for it when I can get the same watch in two-tone for 17K NEW, however I cannot say the same about a 44MM YMII 18K Yellow Gold which LOOKS WAY MORE stunning than the steel version. My wrist is only 6.5 inches and I am torn between GOLD 18K YMII (pre-2017 model at 30k new) versus DAYTONA Two-Tone 18k new VERSUS TT Root Beer at 17K New, I also wanted the Stainless Steel GREEN HULK but cannot justify paying 15K for a 9.5k watch

Might need a third review in another 7 months Eric! Seems like you're not settled on the verdict just yet. Beautiful piece, I do think the Everose blends with the Root Beer bezel almost too well though: its missing some contrast for me at least in those longer distance wrist shots.

Eric I'm thinking of buying one, but do you think the price will go down when the hype is over

I'm surprised why Eric doesn't like it.... must be the mix of vintage with modern dial, and the chocolate or brown mixed in there with the gold, can be too clashing for some people.

i much prefer Rose gold over yellow. which sums up how i feel about this piece. to me it looks so much nicer and classier than a yellow gold case. thanks for the video and congratulations on this beauty. wear it in good health.

Do you feel it would be a dumb choose of me to trade up my 114060+216570 polar 2017 and 18 for a CHNR two tone? TT seems to Always go with quite some discount normally, maybe this piece would keep better his Original value?

Still waiting to see it in person. Looks dope. I love the sportyness to it. But the price is pretty steep for just a gmt. Same price as a Daytona or day date.

I absolutely love that watch. Out of my price range, but it is the one that I am going to get when I'm "there". Love the two tone as well but all gold is the one.

Rosegold GMT is a beautiful, but flashy time piece. I would rather have something more understated or as you call it, "stealth wealth" piece. But all Rolexs are works of art. Love the scenes of Miami Yhat's on the Waterways even though they ruined your video. Happy New Year Eric!

Buyers remorse to a certain degree? When your collection and history of wearing different watches for many years settles into a groove.....you reach a point of absolute perfection. Right now you have growing pains with this exotic watch. Let it play out. It's a badass watch no doubt. Matches perfectly with Black clothing. Personally I say it's a keeper.

I had that blue dial Yacht-Master, the new one 16622. I loved it, I wanted it, then I had it for a year and fell out of love for it. I ended up trading for a steel Daytona. I've had the Daytona over a year still love'n it. This GMT seems to maybe be like that YM. Love from a distance, eh on the wrist. I don't know.

It’s a beautiful watch. I think it’s better than the steel Pepsi. I really like the rose gold black dial Daytona but this is more unique since you can get Daytonas in dozens and dozens of configurations. The bezel pairs with the RG perfectly. The TT is nice but just like the Sub the solid gold one will always look better.

Seeing the watch in a video without special lighting, on someone's wrist in the open with natural light, and not in a pic w a filter is extremely releiving bc it shows wat the watch really looks like. good job.

Was wearing mine today Eric. It looks better on you though 😊. Got mine back in May while vacationing in Mexico. I really love the watch and the Everose gold doesn’t garner as much attention as yellow gold which I like.

Hi Eric, not really happy about the Rose Gold GMT. I prefer the president in rose gold. Can you do a review on the cartier santos 100 in diamonds ?

I have the TT Root Beer and my dealer offered me the all everose version a month ago...however, in the same call he offered me a SECOND Pepsi jubilee (he knew I wanted it for my son)...so I bought another Pepsi instead. Perhaps I will get this one later.

Ive the DD40 and i love it. The everose sub will take me a while to buy since have some APs and Pateks first in my list. My dealer also told me he gets me one once i decide to get it in my collection.

I like it but I feel I would get tired of it because of the color of the bezel matches the rose just a little too much for me. I see that bothering me down the road. I would love to see how the batman bezel would look with rose.

Love the presence of the watch but the outer digits are a little too busy for my liking. They tend to take your eye away from the actual dial. The Submariner works better maybe because the numbers are a little more condensed and less of them? However the GMT is still a great watch has great presence and looks the business in Rose Gold

Between the GMT and the sky in rose gold I would choose the sky. But if you add a daytona or the YM rose gold with OF on your list I would choose the dayto or the YM rather than the GMT or the sky. The OF gives to the watches a very modern look.

I get what you mean about not used to it. I bought a breitling SOH black and gold and it just felt ‘odd’ for a while… but 6 months later it had become my favourite. Let us know how you feel in 6 months!!

About 10 years ago I purchased a Rolex two- tone Sub. Back then, I felt proud to own it and wear it. Now, with the fakes being so well built and the dealers having a very hard time telling the difference, why buy another?

The Daytona was the first rose gold sports model

hate yellow gold it looks cheesy, rose gold on the GMT looks so fine, not bright or flashy but rather "rich" looking

Love that watch! Can't beat a rose gold rolex

My favorite Rolex was the Gold submariner I didn’t think I could love and want another watch more then that but I think this one has just passed it.

this watch is really nice, way better then rose gold daytona since the bezel can't be skretched and always looks nice while the daytona shows the skretch on the rose gold bezel under the light

I would never wear this but this watch is STUNNING

Also while it’s a solid gold Rolex release (pun not intended!) BW 2019 is just around the corner. Those looking for a 35-40 grand PM piece should probably wait to see what they’re putting out this year. There’s definitely going to be a standout watch. Maybe even a updated 3235 gold Sub. Who knows.

O Man, Thank you for this review. My official AD wanted to sell one to me and I was almost ending buying it. It was during the hipe time couple of months ago. I did not and insisted for the Pepsi on the Jubilee. They actually managed to get one for me (long buying history). Feeling way more comfortable with the Pepsi! Thank for confirmation :-) But yes, the rose gold will still remain a really nice piece.
