It’s a beautiful watch head as you say Adrian even with the wart on the side, dial is stunning, love ❤️ the movement but that bracelet is screaming to be changed. I wear my SUB around home as a tool watch & I am not a Rolex fan boy, last year I got a SUB ND and I fell more in love with that SUB to wear around the home as a daily driver, along with my SD43 or JCDS, I agree Omega have some nice watches that I also own but they often fail in the bracelet department for me as well...box, presentation, company, availability, pricing and even the whole limited edition joke I can deal with, but the bracelet has a cheap Seiko type feel to me with no taper.

I'd like to give a huge thanks to Rolex for not making their watches available, it has steered me towards Omega and I have a nice collection that are fun to wear and I am very happy!

I feel like that rolex symbol is for the rich but it's funny because at the same time you can easily buy an omega dark side of the moon and pay 12k. It's just that rolex symbol....

@@whereRbearsTeeth I bought an Omega Seamaster 300 master coaxial brand new for around $4500 which I actually like the look of much more than a Submariner. I can take the remaining cash that I would have spent on the Rolex and take a nice vacation or put it towards my mortgage or dump it into my 401K or buy another Omega! I’m actually much happier.

I have an omega but dude come on. It’s a watch, idc if one watch is 1 second a month more accurate than another. I have an iPhone if I need atomic clock level accuracy. Just get the one with the aesthetic you like best within your budget lnao

I absolutely love the Seamaster Diver 300m. I love the open case back and the waves on the dial.

As an Omega fan boy, visiting the Zenith boutique alone just won me over. Good god, what a marvellous collection they've got. Not nearly enough hype around them. (Probably a good thing for me, as a potential buyer).

My favourite watch at the moment, getting far more wrist time thank anything in my collection, is a titanium Citizen Eco Drive Diver. BN0200 Love it. Lightweight, ultra reliable, looks good.

@@avinashbhunjun5429 I think eco drives are a really really good watch. Bloody accurate, inexpensive (compared to say an Omega) good looking and look classy. I understand your point about over using - at weekends I am out on a mountain bike, riding a motorbike, tinkering with the car, doing a bit of carpentry. Why risk damaging a Rolex when you have a nice citizen that you can risk.

Forgive him. Anyone who, while not under extreme duress, talks of brand prestige in regard to Rolex and further describes himself as a Rolex fanboy must not be taken seriously. Is there hope for such as him? Only time can cure one of such youthful and innocent exuberance. For now, there is a sliver of hope that we mustn't kill by chiding the fellow. However, we must turn a critical brow to KZread for allowing such irresponsible statements to be aired on their platform.

Every time you upload a video, I always get excited to check out the intro. The intro's in your videos are second to none. Amazing cinematography!

Finally! I’ve been waiting for you to step into omega! They are truly awesome watches with great heritage!

I like that version the best. It does feel a bit placeholder in your collection but if you enjoy it, so be it! I do think you have another BB situation where u really dislike both the bracelet and the hands (I’m sure you’ve said this in the past). But I guess time will tell.

I bought the same watch a few months ago, and absolutely love it. I'm also (or possibly was) a bit of a Rolex fan boy, but IMO some of Omega's current watches are smashing it out of the park value wise compared to Rolex. I think most "sensible" people cant/wont justify the cost of a sports Rolex now, but absolutely can on an Omega. Also, Omega have done a great job on some of their new movements.

Plus if i want to in the future i will be able to get the new one from my AD, where as i will not be able to get the current one new. although there will be plenty second hand ones available

The seamaster aqua terra blue on a blue rubber strap did that for me. Walked into an AD to try on some Grand Seikos (All of them continue to remain on my bucket list). I spotted the aqua terra. The sales person insisted I try in on. Once I wore it, I instantly knew this would be a BUY some time in the next two years. After successfully exercising some restraint a year later, alongside a significant purge from my rapidly expanding sub $1000 range collection, I now own this beaut. I enjoyed my pieces, and decided nothing was worth holding on to if I want to keep experiencing different products. In retrospect, I wouldn’t change a thing. Now how long do I have to wait before I think I’m eligible to get my name on that first Journe waitlist? 🤷🏽🤦🏽

Love Rolex as well...but really appreciate an enjoy the whole space thing that Omega has with their Speedmaster...I went to an Omega store and for reasons unknown I tried a blue Deville...nothing Like the watches I love and it just changed something in my head. Didn’t get it, but it certainly connected something I never thought I had.

I own both the 2019 Seamaster and the Sub and I love them both. They are often seen as competitors, but they are very different watches to me, each with their own strengths. I agree the bracelet on the Seamaster feels clunky at first, but I got used to it and actually think it's a very comfy and well made bracelet. Personally I think the functionality on the Seamaster clasp is actually better than that of the Sub clasp, since you can easily operate it without taking it off, which is harder on the Sub.

Adrian fair play for going for something you can use and love - I love the Omega movement connection with the late great George Daniels , love the display window , love the white dial and black accents but personally not a fan of the hands or the bracelet design . Only problem with a potential new explorer 2 will be its price point - presumably 6-7k rrp .

My daily wearer used to be a Seamaster too, it's a Cosmic 2000 with blue dial from the 70s. But I was gifted another watch by a relative so now it's my daily watch cause it has sentiment value to me. But I still wear my Omegas very often

I'm fortunate to have an 16570 'Polar' and an SMP 300 2531.80 - the Omega feels better made but is only worth 25% of the Rolex.

Kudos for not being afraid to admit you might sell it in a year (or not). I feel like I'd be too hyper aware of how my viewers perceive me and my watch journey mistakes while running a KZread channel about watches but you're never afraid to admit you're still on a journey.

Editing and Visuals... ON POINT! Love it.

Did you try call the Omega boutique before purchasing and asking them if they’d match? I bet they would have matched for you to establish a loyal local customer. Love the watch. Love the channel.

When I saw Omega in the title really expected a Speedy, but that Seamaster is stunning! I am kind of the opposite as a Omega Fanboy, own the Moonwatch and the first Seamaster 300 Auto from 1995.

@@Neil.C57510 well majority of those people don't want Breguet, JLC, A. L&S, VC, GS. All of them are either more expensive or more high end than Rolex. The problem is 99% of pedestrian on the street wont recognise a Breguet while 99% would recognise a Rolex. On top of that people want what they or others can't easily obtain. Hence Rolex play the waiting list game. The other day I've read an article about an auction in HK where people bought Rolex OP with coloured dials for ~ 13 500 usd. Id love to see those clown who paid gold Breguet price ( good used condition with b&p) for a Rolex OP 😂

@@Neil.C57510 not for a lesser known high end brand. I appricate a Lange way more than a Rolex, aware few people will know about the Lange. Everyone will know the Rolex, it the reason it does so well...people know the price and name.

Yeah! That exact same watch, polar dial, changed my thinking about it on trying one on. One caveat though. Omega produce fantastic movements so it’s disappointing they don’t direct a bit more care and attention to their clasps.

Happy to see I’m not the only one dying over the “my sack smells good” lol! Love the seamaster 300 in white. I’ve said over and over I don’t like Omega but I want to love the Seamaster and man that white Dial really gets me.

What a beauty! Everytime I put this watch off my wrist, I start missing its beautiful dial. In this price range, there is nothing comparable. The only contender would be the BB, but the Omage has a totally different approach to the dive watch. Definitively a great addition to your collection!

Omega have nailed this Seamaster model. I actually like the straight bracelet designs from Omega - it gives them that bulk feel for a tool watch.

The taper compliment the watch. No taper feels uncomfortable. I agree with Adrian the bracelet is the downside here. Otherwise it is on par with a Sub except for brand image

Cool looking watch.....we’ll played enjoy it in good health.

I’ve been a fan of the new SMP300 since it launched. But when I went to the AD last to get a new clasp for my Speedy, the white dial one literally stopped me in my tracks as I walked past the case. I wasn’t even looking at watches that day - but it stopped me dead. It looks great in this video and on Instagram, it looks 5x as good in actual life. Congrats Adrian on picking up another cracking watch

I love your watch channel, for the content and the photography, but I mainly love it because our taste in watches is so like minded. The black explorer 1 that you love is a perfect one watch collection, the glashutte that you reference in this video is indeed beautiful, and I too am thinking about pulling the trigger on this same omega, also never having owned one before. Rolex fan boy here, just bought the same omega Seamaster last week. Love it!!!! Got mine 20% as well! I pulled the trigger. Love the white dial and black bezel!

The dial and the hands change so much in natural light. Have it, love it.

I actually love the way the Omega braclet does not taper. Its just looks great. I also like the over sized clasp, However the braclet isn't nearly as comfortable as the older Seamaster Bracelet. And I totally agree about the pre owned Rolex Explorer not being a $7000 watch specially for what high horology watches you can buy pre owned at that price range. You can but 2 new Seamasters for the price of one explorer. Great video and you will be an Omega fan boy soon!!! I love my chrome wave dial Seamaster but your white dial looks nice as well.
