You are such an enjoyable player to listen to. When I see your demos on affordable sets like this (but really any electronic drums) you make their potential shine. I bought a TD27 this year and I have continued to watch your videos to remind me that electronic kits can sound great if the player is great.

I have one TD 01DMK with TD 06V module! All editable parameters and sounds! I use in live gigs !

Great demo, thank you. For any of the budget kits the TD-02KV is a no brainer and well worth the extra price and upgrade to mesh snare that captures more nuances than the entry 02k kit. The Alesis nitro kit hats are a deal breaker and Donner is too much of a risk to trust with DAW software. Have owned Roland midi controller keyboard for 12 years and it still keeps up with my computer's software upgrades over the years so I trust the modules on the Roland drum kits will be as reliable.

After 10 minutes those toms and cymbals look like they've been played for 10 years! Have to say the Acoustic Jam kit actually sounds pretty good for this price point.

Yeah, but the whole kit is very robust, same toms and snare as the TD1-KV. My son banged on a TD1-KV for 5 years DAILY: zero issues.

@@tinoheat728correct. Just hook up to your software- kits normally come pre-midi configured to work directly with drum software, so shouldn’t need any further advanced editing.

It's a pity that there is no "BEL" sound on the ride cymbal, on the TD-!kv when you hit harder you had a "bel" sound, and now you need a cymbal with three zones...

Is double bass drum playing possible conveniently with this kit? Like using the hi-hat pedal as a second kick pedal

How would compare this to something like the Alesis DM10 MKII Pro Kit?

I’m new to drums. I bought this kit. Can I become a good drummer by practicing on this kit?

This will be my first edrum kit, does anyone know if you can mix elements from different kits? Like, having the snare and kick from one kit and the rest from another?

Thank you! The TD-25 is a nice little module, it got some sounds from the TD-30 at the time, and it also has positional sensing on snare. Yet, design-wise it is rather special / unconventional compared to all other Roland modules, and also has some limitations that other Roland modules don't have. F.e. No head/rim sound splitting is possible, very limited number of preset kit memory slots. But hey it plays/triggers very nice, as most Roland modules do :) Kind regards & happy drumming!

@@drumtecTV it’ll be my first roland kit, upgrading from a simmons sd600 so a pretty big upgrade so i’m very excited. i’m not too worried about the preset kits as i’m most likely mainly gonna use ezdrummer 3 with it. i just got it a few days ago and it is pretty mindblowing going from module sounds to real samples. i can imagine the roland triggers ezdrummer exceptionally as well so i’m excited about that as well!

You need to buy a pedal that is sold seperately but yeah, it's supported.

😄man, it was actually quite fun to play though, Roland triggering is just great even on those mini kits. Now if only they didn't include that bd controller pedal... 😶
