I bought one of these in 1998 just after they came out. Cost me about $1700 Australian which back then was a lot of money. I didn't get to work out all the functions unfortunately and sold it in 2000 for about $1300. Awesome machine.
Another hidden gem: JX-305: synth based on the 505 still use it daily!

Great video, thanks. I used to own one, then swapped it for a JX-305. Regretted that decision, so I sold the JX. Your video has made me want to get another 505

Im on my second 505, have the mc909 ans got the MC09 Phrase Synth on the way !!!... Killa instruments.

3:56 and 4:18 dude I started to dance at those moments, that's the type of classic deep underground house, clean simple but killer, why don't you share more house themes like that? :( as an old sub, it's now hard to find a this type of house in your recommendations, I really hope you see this comment and Taki it into consideration 😊
