Roland Dyens performs his own arrangement of "La Foule" at the Corfu Guitar Congress Festival in 1997.
The Corfu Guitar Congress-Festival (1992-2007) had a goal to increase the 20/21th century guitar repertoire so that ample new works will continue to be available and to encourage young composers (and not only) to write music for guitar through commissions. It was founded by Leonidas Kanaris and Apostolos Paraskevas.

Angel Cabral (the original composer) was Argentine, but the song is based on a Peruvian valse, and you hear echos of A. Lauro's Valses Venezoelanos in this piece, possibly accentuated by Dyens' arrangement (especially the bass line). I've just made a denoised version of the audio if you're interested. You can clearly hear the all frequencies of the original guitar recording with about 85% noise reduction. I don't want compensation at all, message me if you're interested.

Try comparing this to Mattrach's version, recorded when he was 15 years old. Over 2 million views. I think Mattrach cannot be equalled.

This man wrote the arrangement and described how each note of the piece should be played. So with no disrespect to mattrach but R.Dyens is the best at playing his own arrangements and pieces
