I was wondering if AE-01 can connect to a PC and send MIDI signal via USB cable. As you show, it can be set as MIDI instrument in a DAW through USB. Thank you for the video, especially for the MIDI parts and explanations in English.

Glad it helps 🙌 it’s a big problem that this cool instrument-controller seriously lacked clear documentations, considering they marketed it for beginners… For Mac/iOS, I can say the bluetooth MIDI works great, but Android or Windows users will really need the cable

Used it live (not so often), and a new (gig) video of it will be published around next week. For MIDI, the bluetooth is okay to be used on Apple devices (except for some apps - including the Roland Aerophone app - got intolerable latency for live usage), but for Android and Windows, better use cable.

Berarti kalau jenis suara yg lain, harus d isi dulu melalui laptop..atau bgaimana mas?

Lebih tepatnya bukan "diisi", tapi "mengendalikan" suara dari apps di laptop/tablet/hp 😁 lewat koneksi MIDI (kabel atau bluetooth). Tapi utk bluetooth, lebih mudah & lancar di Apple devices.

To use in live online, we will need an audio interface (for smartphones / PC / laptop / etc) and connect the instruments through it. To connect the audio output, use the 3.5 mm to 1/4” audio jack cable, as the aerophone only have one mini jack stereo output

@@robreginald yes sir I have already done but I have connected my android phone to the application Issue is instrument 6 sound is play in instrument but application sound play in Mobile not to speaker

@mehuldhandhukiyaflute sometimes it’s the matter of reconnecting audio interface to the gadget. But I experienced that more often with phones that still got the 3.5mm output. With the type-C, things are often alright.

Ada built in speaker yang kualitasnya cukup oke utk latihan (tapi kalo max volume agak pecah2). Utk perform, sebaiknya pakai audio out (jack kecil 3.5mm) ke mixer / speaker

Agree, and that's also the point of the tests 😆 we may practice/record silently, but still have to deal with the clicks

@@Studio14Kebumen ya, ga tau knapa kayaknya pada kurang berani nyetok 😅 mugkn krn peminat wind synth/controller di indo masih sdikit, sedangkan fitur2 di AE-01 (kalau hanya nonton bbrp vid tutorial) dirasa nanggung, jadi lebih berani jual sekalian yg tipe tengah atau pro. Sekian tahun lalu, AKAI EWI USB pun kurang diminati ya di sini (harganya lbh murah drpd AE-01). Semoga bisa dapet gan, atau alternatif lain, ordernya dr luar...

Secara kenyamanan relatif (misal dr pencetannya: EWI sensor, Aerophone tombol). Utk fitur, mesti diakui sbg controller EWI USB lbh banyak assignable controllersnya, termasuk dia juga ada bite sensor (Aerophone Mini hanya breath). Tapi AE-01 punya built in sounds, lebih ringan&compact, bluetooth MIDI, bisa pake batere, less complexity.
