So... I think his voice was very tired, they said that rehearsals end up exhausting the singers, he didn't take care of his voice... And that song wasn't very good for him either... I thought it could have been another song, he would have done better.

Roland chosen the wrong song.. he should sing Bryan Adam or Michael Bolton songs. Roland also made a mistake in the last note. As a results Roland did not qualify to AGT Final

Upon hearing Roland sang I will always love you by Whitney Houston, I knew right there that his chance of going to the next round was already doomed. No matter how much I tried to wrack my brain to be able to come up with a sensible explanation as to why, of all the songs, Roland decided to sing that song at this very critical and decisive juncture of the competition simply escapes me.... Or did he? This nasty idea and speculation that somebody notable and with clout made the decision for him that simply left him with no choice but to reluctantly comply without question. Because of the poor choice, his path toward the next round was gravely compromised. My allegation is purely based on my personal conjecture and speculation and does not, in any manner, reflect or constitute a truthful account of what actually transpired leading to the selection of the song by Whitney Houston. But the thought of Marcelino Pomoy having denied of the right to choose the song to sing at the same critical round haunts me no end. Roland never ever attempted to sing I will always love you in the past, at least no video to show he did. My take on this is that somebody made Roland sing this song to sabotage his chance of going to the next round. Of course, I could be wrong, but what if?
