Great video. Can't wait to see what you make. How does it track your position in the room? I saw the older suit model needed a Steam VR set up for positioning.

Thank you. You don’t need any external devices. You just have your starting point where you calibrate the suite. From there you can start to walk around.

I ordered one. I have it coming in by the end of June. What’s your battery setup? I heard you need to buy external batteries to plug the gloves and the suit into. Is this true, any information would be very helpful.

I got a 10000 mah powerbank. If you have the smartsuit 2 you don’t need separate batteries for the gloves.

Its cool your suit arrived! My suit wont arrive for about 2.5 more months. Could you show off the elevation tracking?

Hey, I had to wait for 5 months to get it. Elevation track will be added to Rokoko studio beta in april. ITs not available out of the box.

If I record in Rokoko studio first and export it to unreal. It’s not to bad. But if I try to record directly Unreal engine it seems to be a bigger issue for some reason

I got my suit on the fifth and I'm actually having issues. I even had to contact tech. I really do hope I can fix it because that'll be 4000 down the drain. And sadly there are no tutorials in regards to like a check list to the equipment nor is there a tutorial on how to actually plug it in to make sure its all connecting right. I'm having a really hard time actually.

I've been watching other videos about Smartsuit Pro 1. There are many complaints, and frankly, I see many of those complaints reflected in this updated suit and software. Your hands are going through the dummy's arms, and through the body. Your right left hand is flexing, but the dummy's hand is rigid. The software dummy's feet are floating and sliding, not locked. And I see an overall lack of fluidity in the motion. A $4K-5K solution is a great price point for most indies, but sadly, it's hard to justify because the motion quality is so poor.

I’m using I clone 8 with life face for facial animations. They have a lot of tools for lip sync that I still need to figure out

You have been falsely staged by Rokoko to make it seem like they are shipping suits when they are not. They have no products to sell or ship.

Rokoko has never been good. unusable. I'm sorry for you. It would be better if you bought PN3.

I have been busy making environments. I just got IClone to. I will make some animations in those environments after this weekend. Hopefully I will prove you wrong. But we will find out soon

@@SVADesign We've got the Perception Neuron Suit as well (to be exact we own the first model with hand tracking). It haves some jittering and isn't really usable for fast paced mocap or athletics. But overall it's impressive! The pricetag of Rokoko doesn't invite me to try it out.

Funny you say this because I'm having issues with the Rokoko suit as we speak.

The animation does not look good. Alot of jitter and drifting.

Yeah I know. I think it’s due to my internet connection and the space I’m in. I should have my studio space in about a month or so.
