These don't augment reality at all. It's a portable smart TV. I guess they augment your content consumption. Smart phone experience in a different form factor. For everything you "can" do with these there's always a caveat to it. 200$ max

Just got the station and glasses. I do like it a lot. You did answer one question, which was about the abilty to download, say, a movie from Prime and store it on the station for a plane flight or car ride. I wish that was do-able. I guess I'll have to download to my tablet or phone. The other thing is the station is as slippery as a fish and trying to watch in bed, etc., means putting it somewhere safe. I wish it had a clip on the back or something like a case to clip it somewhere stable. I am looking for a clip for this that might work. Really great video.

I will be honest, i think until these are able to be completely wireless without being bulky they are kind of a gimmick. But only for now. Once they mature more, i beluece we will see these blow up on the market juat like the quest 2 did

You want to talk gimmicky? Apple Vision Pro. There's absolutely no way to make this kind of gadget wireless since you're dealing with lots of data bandwidth. Going wireless with Bluetooth isn't going to make it better.

Please also do a video about the max in combination with the flip 5.

The truth is, you dont need the black out covers if you are wearing a big hoody which i find much better. That way you can feel confident in public to still see underneath incase something is coming toward you while you are seated somewhere

@Matt2023 haha. No. Just helps in public to be able to see stuff as well as the screen your looking at. Honeslty, the screen is bright enough that i dont need covers at all. If you look at something everything shows up clear everywhere. Was just sharing some tips thats all. Nothing to be paranoid unless there is someone that will try a grab and run. 😁

This setup be nice for me with a vision problem and I wouldn’t have to sit so close to the tv

I have the original rokid from kickstarter and playing contente from my s21+ which at the time was one of the few phones with vid/out/type c, i must say that the only complaint I have is, i have to put on contact lenses cuz the diapter doesnt reach my eyesight, but, grabbing a bt controller and playing an emulation on a bus omw to work really blows peoples mind, now with the android station, I really wish it had a higher memory like 126+ n half the price at least that it was compatible with my old rokid glasses, but ill continue using it on my phone womp womp

Most of these glasses the video being projected isn't 3DOF so when you move your head the video moves with it and it becomes disorienting after a while. A lot of these glasses need to have 3DOF built-in without the use of the android TV things... Also if you keep a USBC hub with HDMI you can plug in the android TV thing and use it on a TV like how the Nintendo switch docks to a TV

Can I connect a Google chrome to these glasses through a HDMI hub ?

What cable do you use to plug the Station into the TV?

How do you output the Rokid Max onto the TV? I tried connected the Station with the HDMI to Micro-HDMI Cable to the TV but nothing happens. Any ideas please? Thanks!

@@9shihab101 I have the Rokid Max glasses & the image I see in them is smaller than my 65" TV. I don't mind that part but the sound really needs to be improved. If my girl is watching TV & I'm watching the glasses, the TV drowns out my sound.

I also think that 215” or whatever the screen size they’re marketing to be is somewhat exaggerated. Kind of like saying my 15” monitor can become an IMAX theatre if I put the monitor up close to my face.
