Rokia Traore's hometown of Kolokani is in the northwestern part of Mali's Koulikoro region. "Her language is "Bamana." Called "Bamanankan" by the native speakers, it is no doubt one of the most spoken languages in West Africa. It is spoken in Burkina Faso, in Guinea-Conakry, in Northern Cote-d'Ivoire, in Senegal, but Bamana is especially spoken in Mali where it is the first or second language of 80% of the population." Not understanding the words... by the pictures I suspect it might be about the beauty and importance of all life. I think that the universe is a place which creates life maybe in many places. And all things alive wish to live as you can see easily. In this all living things are equal to all other living things. There is no exception as far as universal law is concerned. MAN gave himself such a "right of exception" but knowing that it is against the laws of nature he should respect and honor all life whenever possible. Like a meat eating animal kills for it's immediate need and not for fun or profit. In that it has respect for all other life. And so should man!
