August 25 serves as a solemn reminder of the ongoing struggle for justice and dignity as the world observes #Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day. For the past 6 years, the Rohingya community has persistently called for justice following the harrowing events that began in 2017.
Trapped in a relentless terror campaign orchestrated by the #Myanmar military in #Rakhine State, the Rohingya people have endured unspeakable atrocities. Despite the passage of time, the tragic reality of the Rohingya genocide endures, with their #fundamentalfreedoms and rights being systematically stripped away.
Let us honour the memory of those lost and be in solidarity against impunity. It is our collective responsibility to amplify the Rohingya's voices, demand justice, and advocate for their rights to be restored.
