I just got thia ring second hand from eBay. I really like the look of it. Reminds me of the plastic red version of the AWA ring I had as a kid. I can't get over the amount of space in it. I also splurged on spare parts and combos for it to switch out mats and all that.

The AWA ones were smaller and were made of cardboard plastic or wood and were not good enough but at least we got something to play with growing up these were my first wrestling figures and rings I've ever owned and than came the WWF wrestling superstars the rubber ones and than came the Hasbro ones and than came Jakks and now Mattel

The ropes go into the hooks/turnbuckle. The corner pads don’t hold the ropes.

I actually had one of my corner pad strings come loose from the fabric so I had to tape the sting together inside the pad to fix it. Plus I have the ropes on the post hooks to save the corner pad material. The Mattel Rubber buckles fit nicely on there. I got 2 more rings to use some of the other spare parts I’ve been getting. The Mattel mats fit well but the skirts don’t. I just got the AEW scale ring and it’s just a tad wider and a little easier to put together. Better deck bracing in the AEW ring. But I still love this one, I got the cage for this ring and it looks sick on it. But the cage and still slide around on the posts despite the pre assembly and the bracketing. Almost wanna use some ol twisty ties or something else to stabilize the cage. I’d love to see some extra stuff like cages and such to come out for the real scale AEW ring. The high wire assembly is next on my list to get for the figures toy ring.

yea id say loop the ropes to the turnbuckle as well as the pad.. and I wound up putting the Elgin head and gear on an old RA triple H body with "short" boots, turned out perfect for elgin

It would be awesome if they made a 6 sided ring..

To be honest none... the authentic/elite scale is good but it's too large so you really need a lot of space. The small ones are better for smaller spaces but they always have gimmicks like the mat breaking or it's spring loaded.

not at all does that look like Micheal Elgin. The ring looks great compared to others I've seen from Mattel's wwe line. That music made my ears pop out of function nearly, I hated it but cool review of the ROH ring. definitely pass on that figure its a wreck
