He wanted to and his Phanomenal Theme was original written for James Storm, as they almost arrived simultanious, but Strom decided to stay in TNA for a while, before finally getting to WWE... if remember correctly...

I have huge respect for this man...the way he gives 100% to his career,religion and family,is awesome. A phenomenal personality.🙏

you really missed out. i remember watching his whole njpw/roh run. that was his finest years in the biz. matches come to mind are styles vs okada in osaka jo hall; styles vs tanahashi in g1 in sumo hall; styles vs suzuki in korakuen hall. legendary matches that stand the test of time.

@@matthewlumibao7057 Yes bro I think so. But WWE was the first promotion of pro wrestling that I started around mid-2015. I saw some shows of NJPW, Lucha Underground, TNA when they came on TV but WWE was my permanent thing until this year when I started watching AEW on a regular basis.

I don't watch WWE so I haven't seen AJ wrestle in a few years, I go back and watch his old matches all the time but I miss seeing him wrestle live so much. I know I can watch clips of his WWE stuff which I have but I just feel the WWE doesnt let AJ go full AJ styles and tear everybody up like he did in new japan and ROH. AJ is one of my favorite wrestlers EVER

I'm not as much of a WWE watcher as I used to be, but he's had some great matches in the 6.5 years he's been there. Definitely worth checking out his SummerSlam 2016 match with Cena and his Survivor Series 2017 match with Brock.
