Looks really fiddly, like War Cry and Necromunda or Infinity. Wish they had used squares like Deadzone and the upcoming Halo Flashpoint. 👍 So much faster and less fiddly with squares.

Whilst I’ve nothing against Mantic’s cubes for measurement, I’d choose a system with inches/cm and a tape measure any day. More accurate, more practiced with it and allows for more variation in a small area.

This is a great teaching video. The pinning mechanic feels great. What is the thought behind rolling a 1 and the opponent gets to choose who activates? Seems to be a good mechanic, just not sure what it's supposed to represent.

Great to hear! We wanted to represent the idea of plans going wrong and the enemy forcing the Team to adjust tactics in battle. It's also really fun when you get to some crucial points and can't activate the Warrior you want to.

Are there rules for vehicles (tanks and such) at all?

Not yet, but we will be releasing vehicle rules in a future campaign expansion. The next expansion covers jungle warfare influenced by the Vietnam era, and then we'll put it to the vote on our Patreon and Facebook Group to see what everyone wants next.

I’m new to hobby.. if I want to try this game, but can I just get the solo and coop book “ungentlemanly warfare” or do I need the core rule book as well??

You'll need the Core Rule book as well, as that includes the basic rules for movement, shooting etc. We offer both books as printed books or PDFs.

What’s the maximum pins in a solider? Was it two or one

It's a maximum of one pin at a time. Once a soldier has been activated, the pin is removed. Then they can be pinned again. Movement, cover and pinning are a big part of the game.

What does a pin do?

When a Warrior is pinned, they cannot move. At the end of their activation, the pin is removed.

Only the Light Machine Gun places a pin on a natural 6. I think we got all those pins placed.

Ahh, missed that. Concerning removing pin markers... Is it a leader ability that allows a model to trade a shoot action to remove a pin?
