I have a bad feeling about this. I bet that each of them die in a blaze of glory. I'm only hoping on Luna's character to continue because he's so representative of life long SW fan. However, who's to say that the characters won't resurface in SW Rebels or other SW media.

I'm sure it's mentioned below, but a shame about the appalling audio quality. Great q & a though. Wonderful cast, great personalities, huge talents, all!

I'm really happy that Gareth Edwards got this opportunity. He's one of my favorite directors. I understand that his movies aren't some people's cup of tea. Godzilla, while I love that film as it was a homage to the original, the writing and dialogue for the characters was shaky. I could even say the same for Monsters. Overall, I think this movie will be fine as Tony GIlroy helped with the screenplay and he's pretty good. Also, it is nice to see Edwards make the jump into a director. Especially, after learning he got into visual effects and has produced some amazing visual effects. When i learned K2S0 was CGI, I was stunned, but then I remembered Edwards has a visual background. So I wouldn't be surprised if he personally rendered the effects. Overall, I'm very excited and I hope this encourages Edwards to continue into Hollywood. Or if he goes back into Indie films, I understand. He'll at the very least make his mark in SWs history. :)

So they kept Jiang Wen off stage to prevent spoilers I see.

Jar Jar was not just voiced! do not disrespect jar jar just for an easy laugh, there was an actor who wore part of the costume, and did the voice as well

Rogue One was not just excellent, it was Empire good! It's the only rival The Empire Strikes Back has in the franchise in my opinion.

'The Dirty Dozen in space' - I called that after the second trailer so thanks for confirming that.

Ahmed Bes was actually on set throughout a lot of Phantom Menace.

Not defending Jar Jar but Ahmed Best was there in person acting with the other actors. He wore a Jar Jar costume with Jar Jar's head on top of his. So, Jar Jar was not just voiced.

Ahmed did a pass with the actors, but then they did the same scene without him. So, technically, it wasn't in the same scenes, atlho Lucas sometimes used rehearsals and simply digitally erased Ahmed out.

Mon Mothma is an important character and has a lot of scenes in this movie. Lyra Erso. Princess Leia. Of course those are minor parts. But Jyn's awesomeness makes up for it!

I've been a huge Star Wars fan my whole life, I was also excited about this movie, then I saw it and was bored all the way through, Disney is ruining Star Wars, I'm sure most love it, probably cause its got the Star Wars name on it. I almost walked out, just boring.

I get the impression from everything Gareth says, that he, like JJ Abrams, is just an Original Trilogy fanboy, and hates anything else Star Wars besides those movies. I grew up with IV-VI and then everything else came after, but I can see the faults with all the movies, and other materials. LucasFilm up to now have been very anti anything but the OT. Thankfully, I think Rian Johnson is going to change that.
