Rogue One is hella underrated, I loved that movie. Loved the backstory and plot. Great story and crucial plot points told with perfection. Without the sacrifice of the Rogue One squad, there would've been no hope.

This movie was very well received, and I did really like the acting and visuals. But when it comes to advancing the story of the Star Wars universe I thought it was pretty unnecessary. The entire movie sums up to: rebels get the weakness to the deathstar that they mention in A New Hope. It just filled in a little gap that wasn't all that mysterious to begin with.

I had never watched star wars and decided to give it a try a few days ago, I watch your recap before starting the respective movie (watching in theatrical release sequence) these help a lot! Thank you! I can now properly appreciate an almost 50 year movie franchise
