The hammer dropped on some of them but Trump keeps pardoning them. The hammer would have dropped on Trump if there wasn't a stupid justice department rule to not indict a sitting president. There are currently 45 nominations to Article III courts awaiting Senate action, including 44 for the District Courts and 1 for the Court of International Trade.] There are currently 72 vacancies on the U.S. District Courts, 2 vacancies on the U.S. Court of International Trade,[3] and 1 announced federal judicial vacancy that will occur before the end of Trump's first term (1 for District Courts)

How do we navigate the marrows of law without case law given this direct sentence taken from the 10th Amendment? The Constitution is incomplete - the founders couldn't POSSIBLY have thought of EVERY legal conundrum to ever come before the government. This was their solution along with the supreme court, starry decisis and the term "rule of law".

If you wanted to claim one nation was imposing its law on other nations at a lopsided rate I'd say we're guilty of that ten-fold - especially considering we're one of the ratifying nations of the ICJ in 1945. I'm saddened that more of my countrymen would fail a 10th grade civics exam.

Just because I was either a certain descent or color or because I was still in my work clothes. I paid 10x the fine, so it does matter, even if your not a politician.

@David Hale You realize Stone was legitimately convicted right? Like there was a Grand jury that voted sufficient evidence and a jury that found him guilty. Judges don't determine guilt... only sentencing. It blows my mind how ignorant to your own legal processes you'd have to be to think it was the Judge being corrupt that led to this man's conviction. That's not how this system works.

@@Soletestament as long as the fisa breach exists, nothing else is legit. Once it was discovered that the fisa warrant was obtained by illegal means, that warrant should have been rescinded. Nothing else should have proceeded until that issue was fixed. Yes it is my opinion . Based on how things work. If you are building a car and discover that one axle doesn't fit the undercarriage properly, you don't leave it on and continue as if it fits. You remove it and replace it. If there is nothing that it can be replaced with, you discontinue the project.

Maybe they should make another movie like Richard Jewell for this, and be accurate about the facts of course.

I unfortunately at the time had to take a public defender because I didn’t know any better at that time and I couldn’t afford a better lawyer. Well let me say there was never a chance for me to plea “not guilty” I was told if I did they would crush me into the ground. So I was scared into taking a plea deal for a lesser charge so that is what I did. If this happens in a small court imagine what happens on a bigger scale!
