In addition to being the greatest of all time, Roger is so humble and has such high EQ. When talking about his partner tapping because of back pressure he had to add "because I am heavier than him" as a small token of respect and humility
please post more this is great
Dang Roger is terrifying. Just watching this I can imagine the non stop smothering pressure and feeling of being trapped. It must feel like rolling with a monster.
I agree. Post more narrative videos please. Way more helpful than instructionals. You tell why you do something instead of how. Thx.
Patience is a huge part of Roger's success . Beautiful to see
It blows my mind when I see competitors not just beat but completely smash other black belts

The other dude was probably a competitor too! It's just Roger bro. He is the GOAT.
This is amazing! Calm, simple explanations from the best of the best.
The guy is a black belt and he taps from pressure when roger takes his back.. Imagine how us would feel?😆😆😆.. The greatest ever

Sometimes guys with lower back issues tap extremely fast in that position, e.g. former wrestlers.

@@kennylovesbjj i think 90% of people would tap there with roger in that position..back problems or not
Thank you so much. Love watching you roll and talk about it
Thanks Roger these are great. Can you please continue making them.. Cheers

I love the simplicity and the basics, all about the pressure. Old school jujitsu

You mean marshmallow and peanut butter with m&ms choke is not part of the fundamentals? (I agree with you very much though 👍🏼)
Hi Roger, narrative and concept videos. That is very valuable. Concepts over techniques all day. Thanks.
This is great stuff! I wish there were more of these narrated sparring videos.
This was great, thank you!
wonderfull video sir!

Alex Rodriguez i think it’s roger just because he has more legitimate grappling accolades
O melhor!
Merci beaucoup
Roger makes great blackbelts look like white belts flailing about. What a GOAT
Roger using pressure passing as his bread and butter makes me feel much better about mainlining it in my top game. It's not old man jiujitsu if the best in the world does it.
This is great! Can you post like 1000 more narrated rolls 😂
Dope!
more content pls
Roger, you should do break downs of your matches. It would be interesting to see what you were thinking through the matcg
Damn from the thumb I thought I was gonna see Roger Gracie going on the Internet
Simple things work just as well as the complicated ones.
hey when are we getting more?!
em português ou legenda ficaria perfeito.oss
com legenda seria perfeito\oss
5:00 I Love that armbar, very cool
Beautiful jiu jitsu
Faz isso com as tuas lutas
A timely response to Keenan's Lapel Encyclopedia . . . "he gave up the lapel game" lol. Thanks, Prof. Roger for the video!
thank God I have never felt a pressure pass from Roger. There is not enough morphine in the world to help that sort of pain. OSSSS
@runthomas
3 жыл бұрын
its not painfull....it is more a case of unstopable,constant pressure which neutralizes everything you want to do
@noturnleftunstoned72

@@runthomas that's pain to me lol Psychologically and physically. My teacher does that pressure passing style too and it's a painful drowning :D fun though.
i would love to train with you mr. gracie
What did he have in front of his laptop
This was just posted earlier in 2019, and Roger has no stripes on his black belt? I thought he was 4th degree.
Can someone explain to me what does exactly mean @1.40 that the guy tapped because of pressure into his back? Is it solely pressure from body weight that maybe prevents the other person from breathing/feeling crushed or Roger tries to e.g. twist the spine?
@ijustwannaleaveacommentony6511

yeah, just getting crushed, there was no need for roger to apply a choke or a lock
Minute 5:57 ... story of my life 😭
I was literally drugged u think tbat was fair ill fight any one now let me roll again fukl mma rules
Am I the only one bothered by Rogers lack of stripes?
roger's really losing his hair.
