Listen to that Greg Lake Bass on "My generation".
Gary Moore always brought it when he played and sang. Really stands out here.
The reason the Garry Moore bits are so far away is because he didn't want his bit recorded so we sneaked the cameras up the back. Glad we didn't do as he asked 😉🤘
Now i understand why Greg Lake played bass on The Who s` "Good Looking Boy" and "Old Red Wine". Sadly he died some years later. Also Gary Moore, incredible. And Russ Ballard, from Argent and one of rock s best and most succesfull hit songwriters.
Gary rips it up as usual.what an intense guitarplayer🎸🔥
Gary and Roger on the same stage = WOW!

Gary Moore Sounds really great on this ! Great Guitar sound !
That was so much fun, and for a great cause! Thank you! I saw a similar line-up at a Leukaemia Research Benefit in July '92, at Oxford Apollo. Ian Paice was the drummer; Gary Moore played a short set; Tony Ashton sang/played organ; Sam Brown sang/played piano (I believe her Mum had unfortunately died from leukaemia, and Sam dedicated a song to her); Gary Brooker performed Whiter Shade of Pale, and the same Ray Charles number (Nighttime is the Right Time); Bernie Marsden was guitarist. Gary Brooker was also at The Mick Ronson Memorial Show at Hammersmith two years after that, '94.
Gary sounds like - as it’s a one off - he’s kinda playing around, going off script. I love it! So many little things vs I’ve never heard before. He’s so freaking great he never misses! God, I miss him!

what a great concert, but what was that sam brown doing there? just screaming? I suppose it was just marketing. Superb Gregg Lake, Russ Ballard, Roger Daltrey and please do not forget Zoot Money and one of my favourite musicians Garry Brooker. The music was sensational from the 60´s and 70´s the best music ever. I produced a cd with this stuff, of course omitting the dreadful Sam Brown.

This was a private gig and the video was made into a dvd as a present for the guests who paid for a ticket. The reason for the bad shots of Garry's performance is he didn't want it filmed so we had to sneak the cameras up the back ,glad you enjoyed it though

I love Sam but have to say I was a bit disappointed in Stay With Me Baby. That song probably needs a fuller band with a more sensitive arrangement than they could pull together for this. Now Heat Wave…..whew!
Fun concert for a very worthy cause; just a shame the camera-work & lighting was so bloody terrible! Obviously we know it's a small club BUT never got to see THE GREAT Gary Moore illuminated and hardly anything of Gary Brooker either. Seemed to concentrate on Daltrey & Palmer, nobody else! SHAME!

@@daddychrispips WTF? Thanks for replying but either Gary asked not to be filmed (although he agreed to perform so that doesn't make much sense) or somebody else wanted to stay as the centre of attention right through the concert maybe? Either way, just my personal opinion/observation.
