    I'm so glad they had this follow up conversation. It created a satisfying closure to the intervention video. Seeing Brendan reflect on it now also serves as a lesson for many people like him. It's relatable to anybody who has a pipe dream but maybe has to be realistic up to a certain time to let it go, or transfer your skills to a new art/job. It's easier said than done, because of ego/identity and /or being young.

    the thing is alot of these fighters dont have much to fall back on. its either be an average or below average fighter or work a shitty 14 dollar an hour job. The ones like shane carwin, or rich franklin who have upper level jobs to fall back on are the lucky ones.

    I ain't ashamed to say this conversation made me tear up. I love it when people can have conversations like this, where one person actually LISTENS to the other and acknowledges they were wrong.     Yes true. But I feel the masses have been conditioned and queued to laugh at joe rogan also. I agree his timing and punches are sometimes good with this comedy but overall I feel these two mechanic he's got a lot of friends and he takes an approach like he does with MMA and it just doesn't come off as funny to me but I think that people are conditioned to laugh at him because it's like the buddy that you know because he's all around now

    Its mature of him to admit that it was dickish because it was in front of the entire world to watch. Not because he said it, but because it wasnt just said in confidence. In saying that though, Joe- and every sane person in the world- knows that shaubs dumb self would have NEVER listened unless he was blasted in a setting like that.
