Roe deer during the rutting season: A stag pursues a doe but she's not quite ready. He loses interest and turns away to chase other keener parties, so she changes her mind and follows him. 10 minutes later as the light starts to fade, he's in pursuit of her again.

    Hi Mark, I think she was testing him, the chase being part of the courtship. All's well here, having returned home from holidays in the Lake District, now I must catch up on editing some more videos.

    Had a great time Mark, was camping and managed to do a fair bit of walking, dragged myself up Illgill Head plus several crags at Devoke Water. I've come back fitter, lighter and looking forward to my next visit. ATB Roo.
