I guess this essentially goes for most martial artists and fighters from the east and Asia. People there are not only taught how to fight but also what tradition and respect means. I've trained with the most uneducated and aggressive people in Germany for a few years until o couldn't take it anymore.. People that will abuse their skills on the streets and act tough for almost killing non-fighters... This is casual in the West and you even see many professional UFC fighters and Boxers having brawls with non-fighters all the time... Martial arts will eventually become as commercialized as anything else and end up being a big cash-cow instead of focusing on the essentials.. it has already become.
