I recognized his talent in 5 seconds, one week before he won Mystic. It was 1999, Dortmund, Germany. I walked into this big ass arena where the contest was held, and immediately this Brazilian kid in a red cap caught my eye: flip back lip, switch flip back lip, flip back lip, switch flip back lip over the main funbox, like a pendulum. I thought "I don`t know what his name is, but he`s my favorite skater of all time".

Not the sole inspirer at all, in fact Rodrigo was inspired by guys who came before him, like Fabio Cristiano and Roger Mancha, his is just the first real street skater to come up outside Brazil.

Unbelievably good part. Reminded me of menikmati and how I loved that part. Can't believe he's still that good and getting better. Glad to see you still in a board sir. So many had to stop and your still killing it.

Glad you mentioned the fact that so many had to stop, cause most of the skaters he came up with are either retired or starting to fade out. And yea, he's still one-upping himself

I love Rodrigo TX! I used to skate his eS shoes religiously. I learned all my basic and fundamental switch tricks in his shoes. It's so awesome to know he loves the 1st model Adidas Businetz because that's the only shoe I skate in and have been for the last 5 years. It's such a great shoe!

He's been one of my favorites since the Firm days and I got to meet him at EMB in SF and he was a really nice guy! Still killing it TX!

For a minute there I forgot that Rodrigo's goofy-footed. Always a pleasure to see him skate. This part was great all the way around: filming, skating, and song choice. Good stuff right here.

Big difference between being able to do tricks and being a legend. Little things like switch flipping up a ledge in your run and landing with your feet in perfect position for your next trick. Baws.

Huge respect for never stoping! It's "so easy" or normal to just start company because you already accomplished everything you wanted as a pro skater. But to actually BE a pro skater and put out video parts - more and better, than some of the youngsters... That's something! Big inspiration

Rodrigo Tx has been a top 10 skater for 20 years. I don’t think there is another skater in it’s history that has sustained his high level for this long. He set a very high bar with his Menikmati part and is still progressing. Pop is something that fades with time. No one told Rodrigo that evidently.

Tx is like a mob hitman who goes through his whole career without a hitch and then grows old staring at the Tuscan sun. Probably one of the most solid skaters in history, footy wise. Fuck yeah Tx thanks for your dedication.
