1:45 fun fact, the middle window has a cannonball lodged in the top of it, you can see it sticking out.

I FIND THE HISTORY OF RODNEY VERY INTERESTING, BUT, IT'S HARD FOR ME TO HEAR THE NARRATION DUE TO THE MUSIC BEING SO LOUD IT IS OVERPOWERING THE NARRATOR'S VOICES.

These buildings are absolutely beautiful

My fiancé and I visited Rodney today. Very eerie! Make sure to visit the cemetery behind the church and up the hill. While we were visiting the cemetery my truck alarm kept going off and it never does that. Later when we had lunch in Natchez we noticed hand prints on the doors and side of my truck! There wasn’t anyone around us at that time and I had just washed my truck the day before. Very strange!!

It’s located to a town called Lorman Mississippi Just about 25 miles north of Natchez Mississippi

Hi i am from France and i love American history! Especially the Civil War!!! I believe in Ghosts and i know there are lots of haunted places in the US especially concernig the Civil War! For example in the battle field of Pittsburg ! Ghosts have been seen in this location!!! And even in the white House the Ghost of President Lincoln appears sometimes in the corridoors ! Well i do like your video!!! It's worthy!!! And i am waiting for the next one!!! Well done and i loved the music!!! Stay safe! God Bless ! Denis from France

This would be a great video if the music was cut out during the discussion. Way too much of it in videos these days when it is more of a distraction than anything else.

We understand. This was the first video my husband edited and we have not made time to re-edit. One day hopefully we can, until then this will be up to share Rodney, Mississippi’s history.

In response to Jonathan's "asking a stupid question"; no, Jonathan it's not a stupid question. I am a War Between The States Historian. The narrator on this presentation was Lieutenant Allen .

You guys should really do a video on neighboring Alcorn State and Windsor Ruins. Some very historic markers there. Senator Revels Old president home and the Oakland Memorial Chapel are national treasures that deserve exploration. As a student at Alcorn we would venture to Rodney sometimes, Windsor Ruins was a frequent spot

My mother's family stayed there when she was in her teens. Her and my aunts took my sisters and I there about 5 years ago. We went into their old house, which was caving in and growing over with bushes. And she saw an old neighbor standing outside but she didn't remember my mom or aunts. And wasn't used to people coming in the town so she got scared and went inside lol.

Nice story and music, but it overpowers the narrators. Lower the music a bit so I can hear the dialogue.

Enjoyed the video but would be a lot better if the music didn't dominate the narration. Fix it and re-release it.

Fascinating story, and one worth hearing. That’s the problem. The music was so loud that I struggled to hear the narrators. Incredibly frustrating.

Music too loud. I am deaf in my left ear so I really couldn’t hear the narrater. It was a very good VIDEO. If I could have heard it...

Amazing how a massive river like the Mississippi can change course like that. Took out little Rodney for sure. Too bad.

Very nice video, I’d like to offer a suggestion. When you are speaking this hard to distinguish due to the background music, just cut the music back some while speaking.

The background music is so loud you can hardly hear the narration

The music is beautiful but DROWNS out the narrative of your story! Otherwise,I enjoyed it.

6 yrs old, people been asking them to edit with low to no music, still not done. Guess the average family doent care about the average reviewer. Will thumbs down and no sob.

Good video, but, check your levels guys. Your background is two times louder than necessary.

It's an awesome place but yet so depressing at the same time

Music and talking is always a distraction. Now, did I want to listen to the story or the music......I remember! I wanted the story. I guess I will never know about this place.

I still to this day do not understand why ppl have to play music while narrating. It's just completely unnecessary and loud.

Music too loud, also what exactly was the primary economics of Rodney. Was Rodney a agricultural economic based on slave labor or other industries. This wasn't addressed. Talking about forgotten. What type of documentary never address how the city they are documenting never address the cities economics.How did Rodney raise? We learn how it fail. Disappointing
