    Good Review. I recently purchased the Samson G Track Pro and I'm trying to convince myself to return it and buy the Rode NT-USB+. I have an iPad Pro and thought that your review was somewhat "spot on" in terms of what I might need for portability as the G Track Pro is a bit heavy for portability. Where the G Track Pro is a bit bulky for portability, it shines and arguably has more performance options than the NT USB+. I think much of my use case rationale is based upon "potential" use for the money. Your sound samples of the NT USB+ connected to the iPad are quite good. I appreciate any thoughts or feedback.

    Honestly? When it comes to microphones, if you have the luxury to try out all the mics you're interested in, you should. Pick the one that compliments your voice the most. Ultimately outside of technicalities like resolution as well as recording specs (for USB mics with built in interface), the acoustic quality of the mic as well as software integration would be the key determining factors of purchase.

    Hey man I know this video was a year ago , I just had a question I'm buying this microphone to pair with my new phone for recording vocals on bandlab , I was firstly wondering what headphones would you recommend to go with this mic and when you plug them into the mic can you hear the beat from letsay bandlab whilst recording

    If you want to monitor audio while making music, I'd go with something closed back like a Beyerdynamic DT770 or Audio technica M50x. For mixing audio, something open back will work better but I'd still go closed back for your first pair.

    Hello, i would like to know if you came across excessive peaking on the microphone. Because it always peaks once i start singing too strongly. I tried getting a bit further out from the mic but the reverb is affecting the sound quality. Can this all be solved by changing the gain ? I heard in the video you said it can be achievable via the app.

  • @MOBHouse

    @MOBHouse

    5 ай бұрын

    you need to lower the gain. By default, it's set pretty hot.

    I just got this mic and the PC humming sound is always in the background it is quite sensitive and its annoying to me because i am here in a noisy place i shouldve got a dynamic mic..... but good build and all though... I think we need a treated room to make this mic sound good.

  • @MOBHouse

    @MOBHouse

    You don't really need a treated room, but you need to get it a lil further away from your PC if it's noisy.

    It's a big room, and its not ideal for singing. I record in a small room with a small foldable or no sound panels and get fantastic sound. Adapt to your environment and settings on capturing apps for great captured speech audio.
