To think that the new generation thinks that Rhianna and Bieber have talent! The Faces pass the test of time. TALENT. Writing. Singing. Instruments. Performance.

I watched a live version of this song in 1972 and Rod was readiing the lyrics as he sang. It had to be new then.

Rod’s still going strong. He was asked once by some journo how many times has he married. He joked about how in future he would just pick a woman he didn’t like and buy Hera house to save himself the bother of getting married. He seems happy with Penny now.

I always miss Ronnie but Tetsu's bass tone is killer diller! Ronnie's was too for that matter, a very unique player

Guys get real Mick Jagger did not copy Rod Stewart. They both had their own unique styles. They are both legends.

Anyone thinking Mick copied anyone NOT black and NOT American hasn't been listening to music for very much longer than a week or two. Check Jackie Wilson if you'd like to know one of the many sources of Mick's shtick. Add to that, Mick was actually doing HIS routine half a decade before Rod was anybody.

I'd join the stones in a heartbeat. Who wouldn't lol? They had great chemistry tho that's for sure. The Faces could've been very successful based on that RNR blueprint with Rod and Ron. It's almost as if the Stones and the Band had a baby.

While I appreciate Rod could not dance, what he elects to do on stage INSTEAD makes me wish he'd phoned his vocals in via remote from someplace far, far away.
