Eric Stoltz totally nailed the role. Along with Cher and Sam Elliott; cast was perfect.

Such a powerful movie. He never felt sorry for himself even though he dealt with more than most. I wish the video didn’t cut out before Rocky helped him though.

I love this movie so much too. I think it's great that the teacher winks at Rocky and treats him normally.

I like how the preppy dude was 100% on his side.

His mom and the guys did a really good job instilling self confidence. Imagine going to a new school😊

I'm glad his teacher treats him like a person and not like a monster

Great movie

Such a powerfull movie ...i to felt this way ..due to have a head injury suffering a blood colt behind the eye i was left with my right pointing down on a 90degree angle for 5yrs of my life from age 8 to 13 school was very very hard😢

People like rocky realy do inspire me i thalt i had it bad .. rocky had it worse and put my ass to shame living his life to the fullest killing it man meanwhile i didnt have it as bad and wasted years of my life .. miss stories like these rip

I love how they used a comedic actress to play the part of the serious, compassionate teacher. You're almost waiting for her to make a joke. She doesn't so her empathy is that much more poignant.
